Yeah I think that's when I changed how I viewed Friends and HIMYM. Cause I took them as just sitcoms, which are sort of meant to be over the top and not taken seriously. The characters were just a reflection of that. But then I got older and realized that they weren't as over the top as I had thought, judging from how the real world is. I can still watch them and breathe out of my nose in amusement on occasion, but it's definitely interesting to have a shifted perspective on them now as opposed to years ago.

This is the problem with a lot of black men who achieve wealth. They no longer see themselves as part of the community. Also, they expect black women to support them, but when the time comes, they betray them. Yet another artist I won't waste my time listening to.

 

I never understood a lot of the hate gambino gets, yeah he's corny, but there's nothing inherently wrong with that. I liked that he wasn't trying to be something that he wasn't.

I guess his uber "hipster" fans can be annoying though.
