Hi dying I'm dad

 

I was in a part of a reservation I had never been to that was very poorly labeled and ended up losing the trail and getting lost on this big hill. I kept running into cliffsides and could only find a pretty steep way down and was trying to use my phone's map app to get my bearings and just plow through the woods and I stepped on a root and whoosh.

I'm fine. The getting lost part was anxiety inducing though.

 

Is there a thread like specifically about why an artist is someone's favorite and the connection they have to them? I know there's list and ranking threads like that, but like one where ppl go in depth. idk I don't frequent the music forum and idk what I'd search it under. I'm just in an emotional and sentimental mood and it seems lovely to read rn lol

I just didn't know if there was one already! Cause I know there's a favorite bands/artists thread but it seemed more like lists and discussing ranking systems. Idk if I should bump that one and change the direction or start a new one! I just want to hear sappy stories lol!

What Your Favorite Artist Means To You

 

I've never bothered with the ESPY's before, but damn that was a well done awards show, better than nearly every other one I've seen on TV.

Didn't expect to tear up multiple times.

 

So busting up my elbow has caused me to miss out on seeing Metric and Lauryn Hill

 

I would never wish this upon anyone.

 

Found out my dad has been DVRing Hogan's Heroes because why not

 

If it makes you feel better Lauryn would probably miss that show too

In other news I only just found out that Vic Mensa is actually not that dude from Pierce the Veil

 

Sucks when the one time your hair looks spot-on in ages is the day you're getting it cut anyway

 

Really hope I hear back from school today. I need to defer my loans asap. Hate being so broke.
