Wait what? Your entire knee has dislocated three or four times or like just your knee cap?

elbow dislocations are super common in children. where the joints haven't fully formed.

Just the kneecap, faulty wording I suppose. I've never had to pop it back in, though. It just slides out and right back in.

Oh alright, that makes more sense.

Guess I didn't realize there was something else there that you could dislocate.

Well I mean your entire knee, where you probably tear every ligment in your knee and your femur and fibula/tibia are no longer on top of each other. It would be a horrifying injury.

This is the ACL reconstruction surgery I had but mine was before the cameras and shit . I was in the hospital for a couple days afterwards and it took me a while to get better whereas my sister got the new technology and was walking an hour after surgery. They put way more metal in there than in the video but it's pretty neat how it's done. My screws didn't dissolve either.

acl injuries look nasty af. my knee is banjaxed but it's not that bad. i had one muscle was stronger than the other so it was causing discomfort. should really have gotten that fixed.

I hate bones popping and shit. My knee did the grinding thing and I almost threw up every time I walked because it was so loud.

I had my left hip replaced when I was 25. That was fun.

that acl video was great. it's amazing what surgeons can do. i've had 4 surgeries but they were pretty standard.

    I'm learning so much today
My ma tore her acl a like 5yrs ago and had to get a whole new ligament put in, so she has some dead guy's ligament in her left leg now.

I can confirm that. What sucks is since I was so young when I got it done, I can look forward to another one in 5-10 years.

I was out of the hospital the same day after my ACL reconstruction surgery. I tore my ACL so young that I had to wait to get my surgery done because they didn't want to stunt the growth in my left leg. So I pretty much wore through my meniscus and that's starting to cause problems. My knee gets sore just standing at concerts for too long.

I've never broken, sprained or dislocated anything either. Played soccer for 10 years tho. Pulled a hamstring getting out of bed once tho.
