I don't like the word "panties". Regardless of gender and type, all undergarments are referred to as "underwear".

Chonies existed first! Altho now they just remind me of this kid last year who'd make all the kids laugh by saying "Stinky chonies!!" all the time lol. He also insisted that girls could only wear panties and boys only wore underwear. Maybe I should've brought up his underwear fixation with his mom at some point lol
