I called my brother a bastard street hearing it in Batman Returns. Definitely got spanked for that.

I hate it too because I feel like those kids' parents don't give a shit what they do. When I hear little kids say stuff like that I automatically assume the worst

 

Nah, I haven't been prescribed it, but I told my brother (who is prescribed it) I was having trouble keeping my attention on some stuff I needed to finish off, so he said I could have a couple of his tablets to try. It definitely worked, but... it really, really worked and it felt a bit weird and disorienting as it was wearing off as well. He told me that if you're not already focused on one specific thing when you take it, it'll make you do stuff like clean and sort things obsessively even if that isn't the specific thing you want to do.

 

I had a hard time sticking to one task unless I had already started doing something when I took it so I know that feeling.

 

I took one of my sisters vyvances one time hoping to get some work done and ended up looking at Wikipedia for hours.

 

It's not an automatic worrying thing for me but it's context. Like depending on what they're saying, if it's new behavior suddenly, if it's violent/aggressive, etc. Usually in my experience it's a parent who let's their kid hang out with an older kid. Always makes me sad when a kid will only call women bitches tho. Makes me hope their mom isn't getting called that at home or something

 

I really need to start school. My money is dwindling. Usually I have a bit more money at this point of the month. Bleh. Fuck these student loans.

If it's cursing of any kind, by a KID, I don't like it. I didn't start doing that until I was in high school, I was like 12/13.even that seems young to me. I don't understand necessity for "bad language" at a young age. It's not cool or edgy or respectful and it doesn't matter what year or generation. Even my parents rarely do it. My dad I hear him say the f word out loud like maybe once a year if even that and that's when he is really mad about something.. Usually money. I don't say it around them. Well, maybe like "shit" or something usually but not fuck or anything worse.

When I play overwatch with my 11 yr old cousin on Xbox Live I keep trying not to say shit or fuck when we're on an awful team lol, but it's so hard because when I'm out with my friends I say that stuff more liberally. Still, in casual conversation most of the time, online or not, it's not necessary or cool.

I get when you're really upset or angry or irritated, or something is seriously wrong, but most of the time it doesn't need to be used, because when I've seen or heard it, whether to me or to others, it's used in a personally insulting manner.

 

I don't swear but I'm also a goody two shoes lol. If i'm in pain or something I usually just take a deep breath and whimper lol. Idk why cause my parents swear all the time but I never did and it'd feel weird to start now haha. I don't mind if others do it but I'd just feel silly doing it

 

Every second word out of my mouth is a swear word. My most used word is fuck. That's pretty normal for Irish people.

I don't swear in front of my parents but I think we're weird about swearing, like I don't think it's necessarily disrespectful and you can be way meaner without swearing

 

Of course, but there's an added aggression and it depends on what you're saying and who you're saying it to. Fuck off doesn't come across like go away for example lol. At least to me it doesn't

My parents don't like it when the kids say holy crap hahaha. Sometimes one of us will sneak in something worse and it probably keeps them up at night
