My dumb cat came in from the hour or so he spends outside every evening and I picked him up as he waddled in like I always do to show him the love and affection he never appreciates and the shithead bled all over me.

He's fine, it was a minor cut and I dressed the wound (he didn't enjoy that process). Stupid dumb cat had me worrying about him and shit.

I love that fucking dickhead.

 

I'm really not surprised but Fergie's new song is extremely bad

 

My friend told me he'd meet me at the bar at 8:30

I left on time but got pulled over so I got delayed until 8:45

It's 9:30 and he's still not here

 

Waiting on people is my least favourite thing

 

Yeah I'm sitting here like "so this is fun..."

 

I have a habit of getting to places 10-15 minutes early and waiting 2+ hours.

 

Nothing has cursed me more socially and benefitted me more work-wise than my punctuality. Nice being raised in an environment where on time was late, haha.

 

My nephew is 2 and just sits on the iPad watching videos of people playing with or reviewing toys/candy and opening gifts. adults who make videos of themselves like opening candy aimed at kids or playing with playdoh sets is kinda weird to me lol like I can't imagine someone asking me what my hobbies are and telling them it's playing with kids toys and posting the videos on youtube

 

What were you expecting?

 

Something bad, probably? She did say she wasn't surprised, haha.

 

I'm always punctual but there are lots of late people in my family and it makes me so mad, Mike Birbiglia does a good bit about how much late people suck

 

I don't know why but kids love these videos. Those people are definitely getting money from the toy companies

 

My friends' daughter watches those but the videos she watches that really weirds them out are like other families vacation vlog things. Their daughter will sneak off with the iPad and watch these families play on beaches and stuff.

 

My daughter would watch cat videos for hours if I let her.

I've never said this to anyone before, but I sound a lot like your daughter.

 

It's a trip being around a perpetually late person and seeing why they're late. Today I was with someone who is always late and once in a while they would say it was time to go but then they'd look at their phone for a while, kinda walk around a bit, look in the mirror, go to the bathroom, check fb, then put their phone down and misplace it, have to look for it, then search for their keys, and then 45 min mater we were leaving like OMG

 

it amazes me how popular unboxing videos are

 

She's particularly fond of videos where they're playing in bags or falling in bath tubs.

 

I've only seen the one where weird al unboxes his grammy lmao

 

Oh god those too. Those are the reason I limit how much time she can spend in YouTube. I have to force her to watch real shows on Netflix

 

i only watch unboxing videos for tech like phones and consoles

 

I use YouTube for music videos and pimple popping videos. Oh, and chiropractor pop videos.

And puppies.

 

Sophie hasn't started clicking around on YouTube yet. She can navigate Netflix like a pro.
