This song too. Sorry, I've been reliving my childhood tonight via beer and my 90's playlist. There's something magical about music and memory, I can hear the delightful mandolin work in this and I can think back to when I would just read books in the backseat of my mom's car and just listen to what she'd play on the radio. I miss those times, I still get nostalgic when I hear this or the Goo Goo Dolls, 80's music of all kinds, or whatever Top 40 90's music, it's that connection I just can't shake.

this song came out around when my aunt died so it always makes me sad. I don't even remember her death but I associate this song so strongly with it I'm always like

 

God, how I love the groove of this song. It just funky and fun, it's one of those pop songs that writers wish they could write. Plus, Romeo+Juliet is a dope movie and I will defend it forever. Seriously, trust me. Go get blazed and watch it, it'll make sense I promise. I wouldn't lie to you about this, promise.
