Team I hate swimming. I can barely do it and being in the sun too long makes me feel tired and lazy and gross. I've almost drowned a few times so I've taken the hint and avoid it now. I'll get in the water but I like to be able to touch the ground. I never had swim lessons and my dad can't swim either so I don't feel comfy in the water.

 

I never learned how either. But, it is terrible regardless. Last summer, when I was at my former partner's uncle's house, he pushed me into the deep end. Luckily, my ex pulled me up. He tried to be friendly after that, and I pushed him because near-death experiences make me angry.

 

I like swimming but it seems like a weird thing to be aggressive about other people doing. I also only like swimming alone. Half self-consciousness and half just wanting my space in general haha.

 

Ugh I hate when ppl do that. One of the last times I was in the water I warned ppl not to dunk me under cause it freaks me out and of course they did. Idk why ppl think it's funny to do dunk or push ppl in water especially if they're not sure if someone can swim or not.

 

I like swimming.

 

I'm scared of the beach at night. I had someone pick me up and take me out fully clothed in jeans and a hoodie. I thought everyone knew that the undertow is really bad at night. Plus I was fully clothed and almost drowned. Another one of our friends came and got me out bc I was struggling and I'm a good swimmer.

He ALSO made me lose my phone that was in my pocket. The guy bought me a new one and apologized to me for almost a solid year. It got really annoying.

 

I've only swam in the ocean once and I wasn't a huge fan of it. We have a ton of awesome lakes in Wisconsin and I really love swimming in those. Mostly though, I like a good pool.

 

I do like swimming in the ocean if it involves snorkeling

 

This freaks me out too! At the BBQ I was at recently ppl were pushing each other into the pool but what if someone had their phone??? I feel like the concept looks cute and fun when I see it in movies lol but in real life I'm like back off!

 

I could go for a swim. My sister bought me these really nice trunks. Can't wait to use them.

She bought them when she was in Italy it's an European Medium but like an x-small and I love it.

 

plus now I have to worry about being paralyzed

Well I love fireworks and swimming so!

 

fireworks are kind of boring. it's funny though because a bunch of cities/towns in my area do fireworks, and appleton (the largest city in the area, around 100k people) is by farrrr the worst. like they're embarrassingly bad.

 

I like fireworks and hate trying to get my kids to go to bed while fireworks are happening

 

my dog usually freaks out at fireworks the whole time, so yesterday we decided to try and really tire him out throughout the day. took him for a reallyyyy long walk, and ran around the backyard with him for awhile. it worked! he'd perk his head up a bit but he slept right through everything.

 

My cat was so afraid of the fireworks last night that it was heartbreaking. I tried to get him to cuddle with me but he just hid under the bed and whined.

I love swimming in the ocean, but it's always so cold that I only go a few times a year. I'll probably be at a complex with a pool soon so hoping to swim a lot more.

 

I enjoy swimming i just hate getting sunburnt and having to constantly put on sunscreen. I burn really easily.

 

i love swimming but am terrible at it.

senior year of high school i had to transfer out of lifeguard training (at the time the only class left with openings and i'm lazy / don't plan so i was stuck) but during the first class we had diving lessons from treading water. after about 10 minutes of using all my energy and brilliant skills i found out that my fucking knees never even went below the water so the teacher thought i'd likely not survive the class and wrote me a letter out.

 

It's pouring rain and I wish I had some pizza.

 

I'm not close enough to any fireworks displays for it to ever be a problem, but even if I was it's like thirty minutes starting at around 9:00 usually

 

I just wear a light shirt and use SPF 110

 

I cut my thumb chopping vegetables. Ouch.

 

Knife job.

 

I burnt my arm on a hot pan from the oven the other day. Looks ugly now.
