I'll say it again, Just Like Heaven is a perfect pop song.

 

Some hummingbirds are aggressive AF. I watched someone being attacked once. The thing kept swooping back in for the kill like a baby torpedo. Glad it wasn't me. I've only had nice ones visit my feeder.

 

I love the cure but I feel like I'm not good at musical discussion to participate in those classic artist things. I'm like "yeah that band is really good..." and then I'm out of things to say lol. I am bad at describing my thoughts on music

 

don't worry, that's totally fine. it's why you rarely see me describe my thoughts on music. i give some minor comments here and there and that's usually it haha.

i'm much better at talking about video games.

This is how I feel too. My comments are usually just "this song was really good" haha

 

Fuck this shit. You don't need a phd to post how you feel about something. Or that you listened to something and liked it. Say what you think and share how you feel always. Even a "Pornography was awesome. I really liked Tracks 2, 4 and 5" might help someone choose where to start.

 

I think I just get intimidated by people who sound like they actually know what they're talking about and then I come in like "I really enjoy how their voice does that dippy thing at that one part" lol. So many people here know so much about music and the technical aspects and I know someone doesn't need to know all that stuff but sometimes it makes it harder to articulate my thoughts when I don't know all the terms and fancy words!

 

I don't know shit about the technical aspects of music and I talk about it so much that people probably want to punch me. Hell, I've made 4 albums myself! Know how you get to know about music? Listening to a bunch. Know what makes you qualified to talk about it? Having two ears and a keyboard.

 

Ya I'm the same way. My opinion is limited to "I like it".ive noticed what makes a good art critic is their ability to contextualize it within something greater than itself, whether it be larger body of work like a genre or even something like the social climate of the time. I don't listen to enough music to be able to do that. Some people are champs on here with that dedication though and i Gotta give props their reviews are a pleasure to read

Just had a series of realistic nightmares that had me stunlocked each time I woke up in between them but I finally snapped up entirely and am now trying to calm my breathing and brain with cheesecake in the kitchen without hopefully waking my seven sleeping family members or my hosts. How are yall doing?

 

Had a dream I got shot in the head the other night. Normally you just wake up after but I literally dreamt I died like everything slowed down and i Felt this euphoria when the trigger was pulled and all I saw was blackness after and i Woke up fucking terrified. Brains can really suck sometimes.

 

I've had a few dreams I've never been able to shake and that's one of them. I still remember dreams from years ago that scared me shitless

 

I had a dream last night that I was responsible for my oldest friend's death. Didn't feel good.

Yeah it's pretty nasty. My mom thinks it's because I like a lot of horror and stuff but it's always "realistic" stuff about family dying, failing out of school, losing financial footing... Sometimes I forget my meds and then things kinda stack with sleep paralysis. Gnasty.

 

I did too last night! I can't remember any of them now but I woke up a bunch of times cause I kept having bad dreams and it made me not wanna go back to sleep. I hate nights like that. Glad you had cheesecake to comfort you!

 

Yeah it's too bad because I recently started trazodone and it's been helpful but I think having allergies and sleeping in a foreign location sets me off more often than not. Well, I'm going back to my apartment tomorrow, where I hopefully will not experience this as much, aha.

 

I hated Trazadone. I never dream and I had horrible dreams with that stuff. Seroquel is the only thing that helps me sleep with no side affects. Last night sucked though bc I couldn't fall all the way asleep so I feel like shit right now. I haven't drank in god knows how long and I feel tired and hungover.

 

The strawberry banana salad junk I made yesterday was a hit! I didn't care for the texture tho. Marshmallows made it too chalky

Also i hate 4th of July especially loud bang fireworks that sound like gunfire. One just went off and one woke me up last night. It's startling!

 

I don't understand why some people can't accept not swimming as a valid standpoint. It's always like,"Well, you just need to try."

 

I never swim, I hate being wet afterwards it's so uncomfortable

 

I avoid it whenever I'm sober. If I'm drunk I'm all for swimming.

It's hot AF today..you couldn't pay me to be outside celebrating right now.
