I like it for what it is, but it feels like they're trying to recapture what The Wonder Years did with Suburbia but for California, and not doing as good of a job at it. I'll probably go back to a song or two.

 

I don't/didn't really listen to a lot of pop punk so I can't place it relative to the genre but relative to Blink and their legacy I think it was a step in the right direction for them. I think it will at least provide redemption for Neighborhoods.

 

I have no desire to listen to the new blink record but I did listen to some old blink the other day.

 

Exactly how I feel about it. I don't like a lot of pop punk but I've got a soft spot for blink and this is more of what I enjoy about them

Bat For Lashes always sounded like a name for a Hard Rock band so I never listened.

 

Never really cared for Blink-182 outside of the hits tbh

New Blink is alright for what it is. Some solid hooks here and there. It feels a bit disjointed, like there's no consistent flow. But it's fine. I mean, it's Blink. I didn't have really high expectations, anyways.

Gotta delve into Silent Planet's latest, too. Blood Orange isn't something I'd normally listen to on my own, but I'm listening to Best to You right now and frick, it's good. Thanks, friends.

 

The new Blink is good and so much more fun than their last few releases.

 

I will forever and always be a fan of their self titled album. It was so dark and emotional for me. It still is to this day and reminds me of my best friend Josh who loved that album just as much as I do. I wish he was still here to see Blink with me in August.
