It's a pretty nice place, the long drive up to it is totally ridiculous though. You'd think they'd blare epic music as you drive up to it.

People who hold family loyalty above all else are annoying af. Maybe I'm cold but if someone screws up I'm not gonna defend them. I won't hate them forever but it's bs to expect everyone to brush things off and act like it doesn't matter cause ~family loyalty. it's a twisted concept.

 

I straight up don't talk to my mom's side of the family after how they treated me and my family for pretty much my whole life. Don't really care either, I didn't forget how they treated me growing up.

 

This dude has been using a leaf blower to blow dirt around a parking lot next to my house for the last 20 minutes and it's so fucking loud and its 8:30 on a Sunday what the fuck is going on

 

Get your hose and spray water. Then he can't blow it and you'll feel like you shot someone

 

A lot of the people I hung out with last night were celebrating Half-Christmas. They all bought each other a bunch of booze and drank all day. Everything about it kind of annoyed me.

Gonna do some gambling in Vegas in two weeks, can't wait.

 

Vegas looks like so much fun, I regret not visiting when I lived in LA.

I fear gambling. The only time I've done it was in Shreveport and I lost $100 very quickly

 

I didn't gamble when I went cause I had to take my car in and it cost like $500 and I knew if I gambled and lost I'd be super mad. I used to work at a casino so it doesn't have much appeal. Regret not gambling on the Britney or Friends machines a little tho

 

For senior grad we were given 50 bucks in quarters to play the slots on our cruise and I didn't lose any but didn't win much either.

My dad and I went into Harrahs in New Orleans to check it out since my sister and her bf were too young to get in and my mom didn't want to go. Neither of us gamble but we were like let's just do this machine thing. We couldn't figure out how to play them. The rules were confusing AF.

 

in high school me and a group of my friends played cash games every fucking weekend for a good 2-3 years. some of us lost a lot of money. very few of us made any money. i was definitely down overall. but im very good at poker as a result. its just that its hard to beat people who dont know what the fuck they're doing. i fucking hate playing hold em with people who dont know how to play. theyre too reckless to read and make the most boneheaded calls. it aggravates me and i go on tilt and make stupid decisions as a result. gotta play with other people who know how to play

 

i know i keep posting these updates but today is a huge milestone. im 14 days clean. two whole weeks without opiates. im feeling better every day, only real problem im having is a bit of nausea in the mornings when i wake up but it goes away after i eat breakfast. thanks so much to everyone here who has shown any amount of support to me in the past few months or weeks, whether you knew all along or just found out i love you all the same and cant express what it means to me to know so many of you care about me.
