Same bc I think that styling is really stupid lol Don't like either of those bands so I don't say it very often.

 

i love both and understand but i will go to my grave saying "piv ris" and "ch-vur-ches"

 

It took me forever to figure out it was "Paris". I initially read it as "Pervis"

 

I can't really focus on or appreciate music while doing other things so I only listen to it in the car... Unless I'm listening to podcasts

 

I used to really like a band in this area called Belle Epoque and maybe this makes me a pretentious asshole but I always hated that they pronounced it as "bell epic".

 

I hate the fact that Wikipedia gives pronunciation in the form of weird symbols that I'm supposed to sit here and decode. Fuck that, Wikipedia!

 

Fucked Up were getting played on MTV for a while. Ceiling broken.

 

My son just pronounced "velociraptor" as "lobster raptor" and I'm having so much fun imagining this now

My roommate fell in love with CHVRCHES the other day because she does a wonderful Jawa impression.

 

Chvrches is a bad band name but a great band. PVRIS is a bad band name and a really bad band.

 

Wavves is a band name I do not like at all.

 

I hate when a band name doesn't match up to the music it would suggest.

 

Elvis Depressedly is a pretty bad name too.

I've been having a pretty shitty few days and per Eda's rec I've been listening to Alan Watts.

I don't get why everyone likes them. I don't even like their singles.
