Did they have those lit up leeks at the show like in this video?

A friend of mine had the latest PS3 one, was really interesting to watch. Especially the bit where you just watch the vocaloids hang out their rooms while you customize them and gave them gifts.

 

I haven't had any of the games so I have no idea about them but I will learn

 

Actually speaking of vocaloids, they gave way to one of the most awkward panels I've ever been to in my life. It was an anime con here a few years ago, me and my buddies went into it as it was just starting. As the panel went on, I realized that 90% of the crowd was men and rather awkward ones at that. In fact, the one dude that stands out in my mind was someone who was literally like two obnoxious dudes I personally know but if they did that transfusion dance or whatever from DBZ and became one person. He had one dude's voice with the other dude's awkward personality and tendency to say super awkward things, in this case being about the vocaloids themselves. It was mad uncomfortable to get through that one, still love vocaloids regardless though.

 

My biggest fear of going to Miku Expo is that there would be guys saying very uncomfortable things about the vocaloids. So glad it didn't end up being the case.

 

I'd love to go to one of those, maybe one day.

 

Had to take the chance to post this in here with the topic going on, I've been in love with this song lately.

 

I'm pretty sure that song was played there I can't remember because I wasn't super familiar with her when I went

 

All I knew was World Is Mine and all the Megurine Luka songs because iconic

 

This is probably my favorite one, it's such a beautiful song.

 

I love Star Fragment the song Miku closes with. The piano progressions are unreal

 

They DEFINITELY played this and it was great

 

I've been wanting to dabble with the English vocaloid software lately, maybe I should try it. I'd probably be garbage at it but unless you try, you'll never know.

 

Reading these posts are so confusing like I have no idea what y'all are talking about but they sound like they belong to a different world entirely lol

Basically a machine that makes vocals. Its like purposely bad english. Makes no sense. BUT IT IS WONDERFUL

 

I love this album more than you guys will ever know.

 

Best way to explain vocaloids is that Japan like things that are odd to the rest of the world and liking computer generated artists based around anime character designs is one of them. It's actually really neat stuff and the rest of the world is starting to warm up to the idea. It's something I see can being huge in the future, it's only a matter of time.

 

Let's start our own vocaloid.
