I just don't like to be shit on for having a differing, and sometimes controversial opinion than the majority. We're each entitled to our own opinion, and if you don't like it, so be it, no need to further instigate the person or to belittle them for not agreeing with whatever point was being made or topic of conversation being discussed.

I got a warning in the little notification thingy, didn't say who the mod was, but it was my one and only warning before points I guess. I was told it was for trolling, but when was I trolling?

There has been quite a few instances as of late where I simply post something, and a couple people come back with "oh great look who it is", or something along those lines trying to get a rise out of me, or trying to rally other posters in the given thread to start in on me for saying something.

It's like I'm being singled out and every post I make is picked apart by people, trying to find a reason to attack me.

 

ooooh you solved the mystery!! It's a whisky music festival. I didn't even know we had one but OMG if I get VIP tickets I get complimentary fried chicken to celebrate their #1 hit Fried Chicken.

omg my bff is gonna work at the whisky festival. I don't even eat meat but I really want to find out if it's like legit fried chicken or if KFC is donating it. Is it like a buffet or do you get one piece??

Oh man, KMIM was played at least once an hour for six months here.

 

ZBB played around my college a lot and they got big time robbed and we tried to collect donations for them. Then they blew up.

 

Could be that I mostly avoid country radio. "Free" and "Toes" have to be their most played songs though. And "While She's Walking Away". And "Goodbye In Her Eyes" k I'm just naming ZBB singles now bc they're good songs

 

"Knee Deep" and "Jump Right In" came to mind, too. I always like their music, but then I just don't wanna hear it after awhile.

 

As soon as they were brought up "Knee Deep" got stuck in my head

 

Watching X Men First Class and my favourite part of this film is when Fassbender gets angry and his accent goes full Irish.

 

I couldn't discern any accent until his last scene and I was like wtf

Probably the best X-Men movie though

 

Yeah that's where he goes bad. Also the "let's just say I'm frankensteins monster" is very Irish too

I didn't send you the warning or anything, so I can't give you much there. My last post basically was one without saying so much. If you think the way any moderators are treating you is unfair, you can either PM us or @Jason Tate . He trusts us to make decisions on how to handle these situations, and I'd like to think if we were being unjust, he'd let us know.

The problem with the posts where people point something out is the fact that your posts feel like controversy for the sake of controversy. Almost like you are saying something JUST to push buttons. I'm sure a lot of people share your opinion on a lot of things. Some of those things just don't have a place on this site. All of our moderation is done based on the rules Jason put forward. If you are saying something that isn't in line with the code of conduct, people are going to say things and report your posts. I've already admitted that the actions of some of those posters have been over the line. I get it. Going forward, we don't want to be in those situations.

This site is supposed to promote a certain safety. Making a thread about a known predator, which you brought up in the OP, is going to make people uncomfortable. We don't promote that type of behavior or person at all on this site. If you want to talk about his music, I'm sure there are still forums that do. Chorus is just not one of them.
