That along with the drum sound in like the opening track are the only good things they've done. The video for that song also has some nods to True Romance.

 

Also, the movie True Romance is a classic. I need to watch that movie again this weekend.

 

Their song "Somebody Else" is just as hopelessly romantic and soul crushing as "Robbers".

 

Surprised I didn't listen to the Brian Fallon record, especially considering what a Gaslight fanboy I was for a time.

 

I really only like Robbers for the homage to True Romance at the end.

I hate how everyone gives advice online without knowing wtf they're talking about. I see it a lot with nutrition and skincare. Everyone is an expert and has contradictory opinions and it's not helpful and some of it is actually harmful and dangerous, and wading through the bs to find what's true is so annoying.

Yeah skincare and weightloss are an online nightmare jungle.

When I told FB I started weight watchers, everyone became a doctor in which I told them to shut the hell up!

 

just rando internet strangers. Comments on articles, forums, etc. I was reading some random thread about someone's diet and everyone was giving them conflicting advice and arguing with each other and I was like OMG stop. I see it a lot on pinterest with skincare. ppl recommend and pin DIY face masks that are not good and contain lots of irritants but everyone likes to jump on the next fad.

 

i haven't seen it, or reservoir dogs, or the kill bill movies...

yeah when you delve too deep into conversations like that, you'll notice everyone becomes hostile.

i try to avoid these: 20 toxic ingredients to avoid when buying body care products and cosmetics and i'm good. i don't really use many products and my make up is minimal.

 

XD i've been slacking on movies in general for some time.

 

I think everyone has been taught different things too and they like to be the Right one. There doesn't seem to be one amazing blanket fix all for everybody's routine but ppl like to act like they have it lmao. It's why whenever I do recommend stuff I'm like "This works FOR ME but idk how it will work for you so don't hate me if it doesn't!!!!"

 

definitely the worst part of the internet behind just people being generally and unapologetically disgusting
