I was watching a video about lost cities and the last one reminded me of just how forgettable the plot of Uncharted 3 actually was.

Haha yeah they were like "all westerly flights are delayed until further notice." We sat at the runway for 1.5 hours

 

Holiday weekend traveling has always been an issue for me.

I'm really surprised I didn't get kicked off a plane one time. I remember getting in an argument and waking up in my bed. Whoops. Too many beers.

 

I haven't been on a flight since I was 9.

 

I've flown a lot.

Helicopter flights were the bane of my existence. Nothing like a two hour flight with the gunner doors open at 2 AM when you've got the flu.

 

Helicopter flights are so fun...the first time. And then it's just annoying haha.

 

This basically took a day off your vacation. I'd be pissed. I know you are, but man.

 

My first helicopter flight was a civilian flight that was p awesome. The place we went to was amazing. They had a German pizza/coffee shop.

Most of the other flights sucked. Flying in Chinooks was pretty cool. They dangle a guy out the back with a big machine guy.

 

I've become really into jazz fusion lately thanks to Jojo's Bizarre Adventure having Pat Metheny Group's music in it. Come to think of it, I really love the music that show offers.

 

Yeah I'm pretty much livid. About to get to my hotel and see if it's not too late to check in. When I was delayed till 6 they said itd be fine but now it's way later

 

Man, it really kills me that band isn't a thing anymore, that band put out some great stuff. Really don't know why people here don't support the metal scene more, there's far more interesting stuff coming out of that than all the pop punk/metalcore carbon copies STL likes to pump out.

 

Oh wow! I thought I was the only one who listened to them. haha. I went through a phase of listening to them and Psyopus all the time.

 

I got into them finding out they were local via some metal news site years back, really dug what they were trying to do. If anything, they're an example of what the local scene can offer if they don't try to copy what's popular. I actually got into a conversation about this last weekend at a radio show, bands don't make it out of here because they just copy whatever they think will get them out of here. Hell, the two local bands that opened the damn thing sounded like you could put a song of theirs in a mix of similar bands and you couldn't tell the difference. The metal, punk/hardcore, and noise scenes are the only ones putting out interesting music but no one wants to support them and that's a shame. Didn't mean to rant so much there but seeing LBM reminded me of why I hate this local scene so much.

 

Well, there's also the hip hop scene too, lots of good stuff there. Just not as knowledgeable about it.

 

Holy fuck I accidentally left the door to my house open last night throughout the entire night.

 

Dude, check every place of your house. This is how horror movies start. I'd know, I've watched WAY too many of them but I don't feel bad about it.

 

I wouldn't worry about it. The chances that more than 3 ghosts crept in is under 70%

 

I've checked all around and nothing's missing and nobody is here but wow I feel stupid.

 

I feel asleep at like 10:30 and woke up around 11, took a phone call from my dad and here I am up past my bedtime sabotaging myself again

 

Drink then, you'll fall asleep in no time! Or you'll be like me and just stay up listening to random music.

 

My beer is all gone! Just gonna play this mobile game for a minute and then try to sleep again

 

Bruh, this Thrice album. I straight up shed a tear listening to this, this is such a great album. I really don't know what I did to have Thrice back in my life and to have such a great comeback album, but I'll take it.
