I'd end up drinking a lot of hair.

 

The place where Mom gets her manis/pedis has free wine. It's always nice when I get my annual pedicure with her around her birthday. I don't think I'd be able to drink while getting a haircut. It's just a disaster zone of hair.

 

@Nick -- real talk, this is what most people in my life assume all Irish people sound like judging by their "fake accents"

I think I'm going to make this weekend a four day.

 

I just heard about hair and nail places serving booze this week, I feel like an idiot

I'm "accidentally" doing this myself.

Just found out yesterday our town is a doing a big fireworks display on the lake for Memorial Day on Saturday (yeah, I don't know why they don't do it on the holiday either), and we can see those from my backyard. Trying to get together a family cookout and bonfire on Sunday.

 

So stoked its going to be a three day weekend. Might actually venture outside of my apartment this weekend.

 

I'd never heard of that. Jersey's alcohol laws are pretty crazy so you don't even see it in a lot of grocery stores. When I got to Arizona and saw beer everywhere, I freaked.

 

I went to a restaurant that didn't serve alcohol and I was flabbergasted.

 

Was it Chuck-E-Cheese?

 

The drive thru liquor stores blew my mind when I first heard of them

 

No it was an Italian place.

 

Fun fact, but they have fantastic deals on beer pitchers at some of them.

 

Will isn't allowed within 300 ft. of Chuck-E-Cheese

 

I'm... flabbergasted that an Italian place wouldn't at least have wine. What the fresh hell?

 

@Lauren -- the things you learn at cousins' birthday parties. also the only place to play skee-ball in knoxville that i'm aware of, so we often take my cousins there for pizza and games. it's also next to the puppy palace, so good evenings are had by all.

 

Hmmm... I should really have plans this weekend.

 

Maybe it was a newer restaurant? I know a lot of places here open up before they get their liquor license. A lot of them also are BYOB which is great if you remember to

 

Husband and I are doing at least one hike per weekend, with an ultimate goal of doing all the NH 4,000-footers. Let me tell you, this thing is the best $3 you can spend on outdoor gear. The black flies were SO BAD last weekend.
