i agree i haven't been able to catch up yet. i'm on season 3, so i'm like, waaay behind. that's not my fault, i literally just started the show a couple of weeks ago. i wasn't sure whether i'd like it or not, and i've been watching other shows, movies, and playing a lot of games. it just wasn't a priority until recently. no one can expect everyone to be on the same page about everything. i don't think that's fair.

 

I should probably pre-order that new ROTLD bluray

Also my ps3 is a terrible bluray player, I always have to open and close the cover until it decides to read the disc. Only blurays though

Yeah I got one of the later slim models with a cover that you have to open and close manually

 

I have one of those triple features that has 28 Days Later/28 Weeks Later/ROTLD and I completely forgot until I was going through stuff the other day. It's rare that I ever like all the movies in one of those things.

 

I need to preorder that too, SF has yet to let me down with their releases.

 

It would be my first. Also need to grab Army of Darkness

 

OH MAN, you will love AoD. It's literally the set that every ED fan has wanted for years, the special features alone is worth the price. As far as my first goes, that honor would belong to Day of the Dead, still my favorite of the trilogy. I absolutely love the work that went into the transfer, it's a night and day difference between the old ones.

Yeah I've been wanting it for a while, just haven't been buying movies at full price lately.

It's too bad the Arrow release of Dawn isn't in print anymore. I haven't seen it and the features look awesome. You can get it on eBay for like $100 now, haha

 

Amazon is pretty good on prices for SF releases, I got Motel Hell for like $20. Doesn't surprise me about the Arrow release, I've heard so many good things about that one. If only the rights holders for Dawn weren't dicks about it, then we'd probably have an updated release for it. However, as Steve (irthesteve) pointed out, the issue with the rights for that movie is a complex one to deal with so who knows when that'll happen...

 

I feel weird and selfish when I say I miss artists I never met who have passed but I miss Nujabes a lot

speaking of star wars, the finished up ep VIII filming in ireland yesterday. the filming was taking place in a county called Kerry and they had a bunch of locals on the news. swear to god i couldn't understand a word they were saying.
