Yeah my grandpa has cancer and I didn't find out until he was making the decision to either ride it out, have a risky surgery or a minor surgery. It's crazy how we have such easier ways to contact people now and still don't do it.

My housemates have thrown a party for the first time that I know of, at really short notice, or at least I only found out about an hour ago, and it's also dawned on me just how little they can hold their drink because it's 7pm and they're already screaming their heads off and knocking shit over. Ugh

 

The hyperbole in that Hotelier thread is insane. I really liked Home, but I just don't see what everyone else does. Much prefer that Pianos album over any of theirs.

Which Piano's album? Imo they only have one great one and it's The Lack Long After. Love The Hotelier though so don't hurt me like this.

 

Keep You is perfect to me. It's one of two albums that just destroys me every time.

 

I do like that record quite a bit. Need to revisit it, it hasn't stuck with me long term but definitely worth another go.

Two months off, nothing to do. I considered being someone who is cool and goes to cafes to read books alone, but then I'd have to buy something and screw that, I'm not working so nobody has money for that! I do need to go to the unemployment office, schedule a hair appt, and schedule an appt to take my car in, but my anxiety is being weird. I think when I'm working and have to interact with ppl it helps my anxiety cause interacting is just another thing I have to do. When I'm not working it's easier to be a hermit and let anxiety win.
