What do yall feel like you... Want in life? Been having my requisite existential crisis over the past few days and it's eating away at me even more than usual.

Kinda trite to quote Bey, but also very true. I don't really want an extravagant life, I just want a life well lived surrounded by people, family and friends, I love. I don't wanna climb the corporate ladder, I just want to make a living that allows me to participate in my passions and provides for myself/my eventual family. I'd like to see more and more of the world, read more books, go to more concerts, eat more food... Experiences > things, unless those things are art (whether books, paintings, physical copies of media).

I've written a novel, and I'm currently making it better. But I guess my one core goal is to be a published author.

Kindergarten graduation this morning. The little scholar.

I moved a few weeks ago on a day that was 90+ degrees, I would prefer moving when it's cold :)

 

Thanks to my lame boss other departments are trying to push their work on mine. Well... even more work than they usually push. Fuck this shit.

 

The librarian in my hometown signs me up for the summer reading program but gives me and my mom more pages than normal. The tshirts are pretty cool.

 

The project I'm supposed to do at work requires Adobe. It wasn't updated so I put in a ticket for it. The guy came up like 6 days ago to "fix" my problem. There's just been a sign on the computer for 6 days that says "do not use". Thanks man.

 

I do that at the libraries I work at. lol

 

Driving to work and my regular routes street was closed. With a sign that says it will be closed until 2017 lol need to find s better way around cause that took way too long to go around.
