If I ever become single again, Which I'm 99.7% sure that won't happen, I will NOT even think of online dating. Been there, done that....FAILED! I'd rather be alone with 5 Cats and my DVR.

 

I sometimes want to date but I also remember when I had to ask permission to go to things and I'm thinking "nah I'm good"

 

I mean, I'd rather find someone willing to go see pop idols with me than have to ask to go alone.

 

Autonomy is a huge factor in me being single so I feel you there.

 

Just a short photo shoot and going to bed at a decent hour haha I should just do it

 

I don't ask permission to do anything. I do what I want. Obviously I'm not running around hanging out with other guys, but you get what I'm saying. I go out with my girls or just have "Me" days. I let boyfriend do things on his own and he doesn't have to ask permission. He tells me what his plans are and such but I don't bug him while he is out with his buddies.

 

I think the time I'm thinking of was when I went to see Anthony Jeselnik. I have never met anyone who would go with me for that.

It feels so essential. I'd love to just meet someone with similar interests but that never happens haha people with similar interests don't like me

 

I have more guy friends than girl friends and that always seems to be an issue when I'm dating.

 

I only really had to when she and I lived together and raised children together but yeah I get you for sure

 

That actually makes perfect sense. Unless you start dating bros, it might be hard to find someone into his brand of comedy. haha

 

That was always in issue in the past, but because boyfriend is friends with my all guy friends and plays hockey with most of them, it works out nicely.

 

I feel confident in my online dating profiles. I just don't end up liking the people I match with

It was more like "if you go out I'm at home alone with the kids and you're not helping," which I also find a bit absurd considering everyone needs a day off every once in a while haha

Now that we live apart it goes much much better
