Shortly after I read this, I looked down at my lap to find a pool of coffee. I honestly have no idea how long it was there. Should probably wear more absorbent clothes?

Yeah, once I get dressed for my interview this afternoon, I won't be touching anything until after it's over.

 

Was getting a burrito for lunch and the guy in front of me was on the phone trying to delay an interview while wearing clothes that looked like they haven't seen an iron since the 80's

 

I'm doing the old "throw it in the dryer with a damp washcloth" trick instead of ironing today.

 

I had to quickly google iron to see if you silly yanks used it in that context haha

 

The last interview I went on i wore a black skirt and got banana on it. I had my hands over the spot the entire interview lol

 

Ayyyy. Just gotta get through this work day. Then, It's Always Sunny Trivia and beers!

 

Nah, we share that one. I just loathe the task.

 

Yeah I hate it too. I wash clothes and then sit beside it looking depressed for a while after.

 

I can get my clothes put up from the laundry really quickly. Just all of my dress clothes are little wrinkly. And I need like five new pairs of pants if I end up in a work environment that requires nicer clothing again (which, hopefully, is one of the two jobs I'm interviewing for this week).

When my parents got divorced, my dad quickly learned just how time consuming ironing is, and he had a monthly bill of like $200 at the dry cleaners because "Fuck that." #corporateAmerica

 

I never heard of the washcloth thing before. I throw stuff in the dryer to dewrinkle all the time though
