(i hope that joke landed, because the first one is the "best" of the three)

I don't love anything as much as some people love those series.

Wasn't there a big initiative awhile back to build one and make it into an actual city in England? Am I making that up? Like the World Map Islands in Dubai but for supernerds like us?

Each movie had a scene that was FLAWLESS. Other than that, even as a guy who saw all three at midnight releases... Ehhhhhhhhhhhh.

The first Harry Potter movie is an abomination but like every child actor were in their first movie and I forgive them for it.

I just want to immerse myself in Middle Earth.

But if I was there, I'd look like those "Swarthy Men," Tolkien you racist.

If we can all grow up loving Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker we can forgive child Daniel Radcliffe's Harry Potter.

Those first two HP movies are so rough. Every time I watch them with people who are experiencing them for the first time (which happens surprisingly a lot), I'm always like, "Okay, but trust me, take a few shots and just get to the third one."

I thought the Hobbit movies were fine. Definitely unnecessarily drawn out, but still enjoyable enough.

I remember Chmsber of Secrets being good, but the first excellent one is Goblet of Fire imo.

The books got progressively better too.

I haven't watched past Goblet Of Fire yet, still. Read all the books and loved them all, but afraid to watch past Goblet just because of how much I loved those final books.

I didn't get the appeal when I first starting reading Sorceror's Stone. Granted, I was six years old. A while later I really got into the whole series and was hooked.

3rd movie was the best, 5th book was the best.

I like to tell Tolkien fans about how I'm from an area that he used to live in and inspired a lot of Middle Earth locations, then that I don't actually care that much about it myself.

Although I haven't seen movies 5-8, I agree with this.

Every movie after the second is glorious. Although Anti-Semitic in one of the final ones.

    but... but...

Five is a terrible adaptation, but with great acting. Six finally nails the characters, but doesn't handle the plot at best. Seven is the best movie, bar none. Eight is just... the culmination of a lot of emotions.

  25. Nick

Azkaban is by far the best film.
