It's an office job at a state department facility. I'm a team leader in the data entry department, so I basically spend all day answering the same questions. Second shift is a lot more laidback at least, but there goes my social life!

Damn, I didn't know any position had to work that late in the state department.

 

That's high praise for Ellie, but I'll allow it! ;)

 

I think Ellie was the one who really broke me into pop music.

 

I'm working out in the garage on my elliptical, and my cat is freaking out at the music that I'm playing.

 

Still hasn't quite sunk in that I'm seeing Ellie in three weeks.

 

Holy shit, I just got a job interview at the Travel Channel's parent network.

 

Doing what?

 

Coordinating Rights Management of product. The dream would be writing/producing for one of their shows, but getting my foot in the door is huge if it happens. I've had another interview there before (they're HQ'd in Knoxville) for arranging their commercials, but lost out to an in-house job switch. They're consistently voted the best company to work for in Knoxville/Tennessee. They also own HGTV, DIY, Food, Cooking, and GAC.

I'm kind of complacent at the moment. My job is going to allow me to go to school full time and maintain here. I'm going to be making a lot of cash that way. This job is too good to give up atm.

Fair enough. If it's an easy job to balance school with and they'll work around that schedule, absolutely the right call to keep it.

 

Yeah, between benefits and 'experience', it's definitely in my best interest. Haha. The way the GI Bill works, I'll be doubling my income once I start classes. :thumbsup:

 

Haha. When I interviewed there for another position back in January, my mom was like "Please bring the property brothers to fix my kitchen." I just wanna go on House Hunters: International.

 

Someone's gonna double their comic purchases, amirite?

 

HGTV is really addictive. Sometimes on Sundays I stay home and watch all day. I'd settle for being on Beach Front Bargain Hunt.

 

Maybe she's like me and just wants to be between that yummy twin sandwich... or maybe not.

 

She likes the handyman one. Not the biggest fan of the realtor one.

 

I watched a lot of White Collar this weekend because sometimes I hate myself.
