I still haven't listened to the new Drake, I keep forgetting it's out.

 

This thread is quite long so I have no clue haha but I guess the band doesn't matter anyways. I think you should talk to him privately addressing your concerns with the band and if he gets weird and defensive then you could sever ties.

 

I started listening when it came out and I'm still in my first listen that's how long it is

(Not really but it is pretty long)

New drake was so long I've still only listened once. For all I know, it's still playing.

I found it underwhelming. It's okay.

 

It's like half and half I think, I know a lot of people who like it a lot. I felt kinda crazy when I didn't like first listen just cuz of how many enjoyed it haha

My biggest gripe is just how much feels like filler and could've been left out, it still has a lot of very good songs, and it's kinda like @TheWater(s) said, with so many artists taking major risks this year hearing Drake just be Drake felt kinda stale

 

the whole nice guy shtick on Hotline Bling is gross

 

I like most of it but I haven't had the urge to come back to it much, like I have his other albums when they were released

 

I'm talking shit but I don't mind most of it, to just too long, samey and has some really cringe lyrics. One Dance is now the song I'll go to heaven listening to since I just figured out I can't juke.

 

I thought Views was kinda boring.

 

Views is cool, definitely not my fav from him though. The back half is super solid, the front half is nice and chill, overall nothing HUGE that wows me, but a good listen

 

I haven't listened to a drake album since So Far Gone.

 

Just ate two bags of gummy bears in record time and now I pray for death.

 

Nothing like a good desk reorganization to make you more productive.

While at the art museum last night found out there's a Kehinde Wiley exhibit coming here next month. So stoked.

 

The line "her gram too poppin to fuck her/the chain too heavy to tuck it I'm serious" irks me a lot.
