I'm only halfsies Greek, from my mom's side, but I like to identify with that side more because German/English is way less interesting. Plus I just like that side of the family way more.

 

I'm attracted to personality as much as looks, I'm a sapiosexual just kidding those are the worst

 

Personality is fantastic but looks are really everything when I first meet someone. It's the whole reason you approach them in the first place. Afterwards when you find out they're cool, it's incredible!

 

I'm like 60/40 Italian/German. My brother has blonde hair and blue eyes and i have dark brown hair and brown eyes. So basically he got the german side and i got the italian, haha.

 

those ARE the worst.

I've really been procrastinating starting this and I need to stop.

 

hate u all my features are big. Big eyes, full lips, big teeth, big nose lol. I feel like with that many big features it just looks comical haha. Oh well!

 

This season of New Girl has me feeling all sorts of ways.

 

I watched the first episode and it made me miserable so I've been procrastinating on watching the rest

Haha same! My grandma is the only grandparent who was alive as I've grown/grew up going there for Sunday dinners so I definitely feel you on that

 

I'm so glad I have my bff. All my other friends are achieving milestones in their lives and we have less and less in common. All they talk about are their milestones I haven't experienced and don't really desire to experience, so it's amazing having a friend be stuck in life with me.

 

Everyone always tells me "the people talking about their milestones nonstop are the ones that aren't as happy about everything else" but it's so hard to actually believe that. Always good to have a friend who you can really relate with and who doesn't put any pressure on you or make you feel worse about things.

 

I feel this so much.
It's weird to see most of my friends starting these careers that they hate but doing it cause it pays well and I'm making my living doing the things we always talked about doing for a living together in high school.

Nothing wrong with their path and choices and stuff but it does make it hard to stay as close

 

I just hung out with a childhood friend for the first time since she had her baby. She's married, owns a home, has a career job, and now her baby and it was just weird. Like all she wanted to talk about was the baby and that's totally fine. It's a big deal in her life and is important to her and I'd totally wanna talk about it too if I was her. But all I really wanted was to talk and gossip about mundane things in life and have that be reciprocated lol.

ppl out here buying houses and being adults and earlier today I decided my new goal is to learn the choreo to 1D's Best Song Ever video like adulthood what?? Ambition who??

 

Hahahaha, funny enough it's a reason why I don't get along with a lot of parents. I get along with Chase really well because both of us are single parents and have dealt with a lot of the same things, so we understand all the aspects of it but it's also not ALL we'll talk about because we're not with our kids 24/7 (even if we want to be). I feel like I've become the victim of the opposite of what you're saying in a way, where most people want me to only talk about my children and I don't want to, because I like to keep to myself about them most of the time honestly. I don't like bragging an insane amount and also always hated when my parents would talk about me to people I didn't know (as dumb as that probably sounds) so try not to do the same about my kids.

 

Listened to him talk about it on Maron today and I'm scared to even attempt to watch it.

 

Aw, I'm glad you and Chase have each other that's so cute. I hated when my parents talked about me too and I still think it's weird when my mom posts about my life on facebook so you're not alone there!

I like to talk about my daughter but only with people who know her. I don't know why anyone would want to hear about kids they don't know. I'd rather argue about pizza and discuss music and stuff
