It's totally normal to have some level of ambient light on to sleep. It's like how some people need white noise machines to sleep.

However, the light from TV (and laptops, ipads, cell phones, etc) is primarily in the blue range which is more likely to keep us awake. That said, I can't sleep without reading stuff on my tablet.

 

yeah I think I just like listening to the tv on my laptop. Like I press play and turn my back away from it and then I'm asleep 5 minutes later lol

 

Whatever works, do it.

I've been having sleeping issues since like late 2014 and I need unisom to sleep. A study just came out that links daily use of benadryl (which is the active ingredient in unisom) to early onset dementia. I should really find an alternative.

 

That's why I was beyond confused. Oh well.

I don't know how my nose looks but my English teacher used to call me Snape so...granted it was because of my long gross hair but I couldn't help but take it to heart about my nose too.

 

My ex is Jewish and she had a large nose and it was one of my favorite features of her's.

I think it's so dumb when people say they have a "type". Why limit yourself?

 

I don't think most people are limiting themselves when they say they have a type, it's just an easy way to say they know what they're consistently attracted to.

 

and I find it dubious to be consistently physically attracted to just a specific set of features

 

Maybe i just legitimately don't have a type, haha. Every girl i've dated has looked drastically different from the next.

 

I fully admit that I have a type, but it's more of a set of characteristics that I find attractive. The physical being housing those characters is far less important and most of my crushes/dates have been pretty different, but all equally beautiful.

 

I'm mostly Scottish and Italian actually haha, but my Grandmother is from southern Italy so they tell me that's where I get it from. I've learned to embrace it and it's distinctiveness
