Same. So I never ask. The one time where I was really fucked I asked a friend first because I didn't want to go to my parents even though they're super nice and would never hold it over me.

 

My parents never expect me to pay them back but it still hurts me to have to ask. The worst.

 

The most I've ever made in a calendar year is what my dad makes in a month. I also hate asking him for money because I've always wanted him to know our relationship is because I love him, not because he has money.

Mom's nowhere near that level of income and it's just been me and her at home since I was six, though, so it's not like I've ever really lived out the lifestyle of my dad's income.

 

I'd never ask for money from my parents but they also don't have a lot. They're a lil better off than when I was a kid but we struggled pretty hard growing up, and even tho they're better now I still see them as struggling to keep the power on and stuff. My mom offers to pay for some medical stuff for me but it feels too weird taking it.

That being said if my parents were loaded and offered me Disneyland tickets heck yes I'd take it lol!

My parents were the same growing up and only recently did they start even slightly spending their money. They've had money awhile now and didn't replace their TV with a tube coming out the back and a VCR built in till last year. It's in their blood to be frugal haha

 

My mom expects me to pay her back on some things. As she puts it, I'm an adult now.

 

My mom shouldn't be helping me with school but she doesn't really take no for an answer. She always says "I spent 18+ years raising you and I'm not gonna let it go to waste now." Sigh, I don't deserve such a nice parent ha

 

I just dominated car choreo to Kiss You by One Direction. It's hard to do certain moves while driving with a seat belt but not impossible! I should be a car choreographer professionally tbh

 

My cousin is leaving tomorrow for 6 weeks to start her training as a flight attendant.

Now what do I do?

I did an entire cover of Running from Lions by All Time Low in my parents mini van and put it on YouTube in high school, hahaha. I can't imagine doing choreo though, especially while driving.

 

I feel like it'd be harder to sing properly! Choreo in the car is easy enough if you focus on hip movements, arm dancing, and sassy hair flipping lol. This is basically me in my car every day lol

 

think of all the places you can convince her to take you for free

 

Ahahahahaha. That was awesome. Singin' while driving is easy for me, but i'm a singer. You're prolly a dancer, so it makes sense

I would be worried if I took my hands off the wheel while rocking out I'd get into an accident and die, it's going to happen on carpool karaoke one of these days and I'll be so sad, so I just kind of sing along or nod my head maybe

That's how I feel when ppl take their eyes off the road when talking to the passenger! Every time they're doing that in a movie I wait for a semi to plow into them out of nowhere and it happens like 80% of the time lol

 

I have trouble putting on skinny jeans normally, I don't think I could dance my way into a pair just yet.

 

I feel like I should at least try with my PJ pants when I get home, right?

 

I drive with my knee most of the time and I know that's bad.
