I still have to actually enjoy her comedy. Not saying she's terrible or anything like that, I just haven't found her work to be that entertaining to me.

 

Dark Mode makes everything worth it.

 

Only moderately insane. We had one reso of 13 people not show up so that made things easier.

I don't think it's that far-fetched of a question honestly, A Different Spin was the first time I'd heard of her. Obviously she had a career before that, but that was definitely before she blew up.

 

I guess it's just one of those things where a simple google search showing her history should show everything she's done before and the different avenues that have made her popular. It would be looked at as extremely farfetched if someone asked if Schumer discovered Hoppus and they likely wouldn't get that benefit of the doubt.

 

That was probably my introduction to her as well, I actually used to watch that a good amount.

 

It doesn't really matter though discovering things is good no matter how

I'm sure a lot of older people would be angry I discovered Omega through Kanye West or first listened to Beirut because of Chance The Rapper but here we are

 

I don't know maybe I just don't like the term "discovered" as if someone pulled some random person off the street and gave them a career, not like they earned their roles and had tons of work beforehand.

 

Yeah I'm not big on it either. I remember getting in an argument with some guy when J. Cole's first album came out cuz he was all "this guy no ones ever heard of outsold blink? Why does he get that without any work at all?" and had to explain that it's an entirely different music scene and he had been releasing music for years haha.

 

It seems odd to assume someone didn't put in the work, just because you personally hadn't heard of them before, haha.

 

I also don't think the dude in the Blink thread was implying she doesn't work or work hard either though. Just assuming that Mark put someone on to instant fame was weird to me. Also I've never heard of that Mark show until today lol. Wonder who discovered him and gave him that show tbh

 

Yeah that's fair, the wording isn't great. I definitely don't think Mark Hoppus was sitting in underground comedy clubs going "yes, her. she's the one."

 

I'm glad I don't have a television because Amy Schumer gets shoved down my throat enough. Not really a fan.

 

I think the latest I've ever had to perform is about 11pm, thankfully. At this point I'm probably more concerned about doing the exam once I get there. It's one question on something I know pretty well and one on something that stumps me. So for the next 36 hours or so I'm just going to spend every spare moment I get cramming on how visual perception works haha.

 

I got logged out somehow on my phone so when I came to chorus it was in light/white mode and I actually made an AHHHHH noise outloud.

 

Light mode hurts my eyes.

I talked about t in the Trump thread but all the things are bad about him is what I would hear people complain about how junior officers don't know what they are doing.

 

I'm so burnt out, I wish I could do well in school, this is the third time (basically) I've failed pre-calc. It's almost impressive at this point.

I hope I don't have to take any more math when I go back.

 

It is, I should have passed it the 2nd time tho, my teacher was so chill and it's just embarrassing at this point. Also I need to up to Calc 2 to get my degree lol
