been trying to get clean. been failing. other than that just work, i actually got promoted which is nice. but its hard to be happy with the other thing constantly looming over me. its hard to be happy about anything at all

 

Late to the party because I've been in the Prince wilderness for a few weeks, but damn did not think Lemonade was going to be Beyonce's best album, but here we are.

 

For Mother's Day, mom had me deep clean and organize the garage. So basically I'm a walking allergy attack right now. But it looks real good and purging is such a great feeling.

 

I love that she made such good use out of her Mother's Day privilege lol

 

Yesterday she had me alphabetize her DVDs. She's a "do things I don't wanna do" type gift person. I don't think she realized how much I was willing to do until she saw me re-organizing our tool chest.

 

My family has an understanding that I don't do Hallmark holidays.

 

All I've done for Mothers Day so far is get lunch with my ex. It was nice, probably all I'll do today. I do miss my mom though.

 

My mom's been feeling woozy, so we just ordered food in.

 

I do Mother's and Father's Day mainly because I like spending time with my parents.

 

I cooked breakfast, lunch and supper for my mom. I cleaned a little bit of the house and put up the random stuff that was laying around.
