Nope. I'm also pretty out of touch with what's going on in that kinda scene. Recognize a few names tho.

 

Screaming Females and Laura Stevenson are the only ones whose names I even recognize.

 

Burt's cleaned up his act a lot. Dude has gotten into some INSANE conspiracy theories though. I heard him on a radio show recently and he was way off the deep end.

 

I'M MELTING IN YOUR EYESSSSSSS. Their first two albums still have some big jams for me. Did they also do a self-titled show? I never got to see Blue and Yellow live, but then again, I've only seen The Used once.

It's pretty cheap and very close to home. I'd be down for going if there were enough acts I really enjoyed.

 

Norma Jean are playing an intimate show in my town next month. Should I go?

 

I'm not huge on their music, but Norma Jean is a ton of fun live when they just start throwing shit.

Saw them about twelve years ago and they came out to "EVERYBODY DANCE NOW" and then shit went cray.

 

I've seen them a few times, and the smaller the show the crazier it gets. So much fun. I also think Meridional is criminally overlooked.

 

mal blum is the biggest impact any artist i've heard for the first time this year has had on me. that record is unreal good, they're perfect. ought put out a top ten record for me last year, can't wait to see them on tuesday. chain and the gang is ian svenonius from nation of ulysses. radiator hospital, ps elliot, tenement, aye nako, girlpool, and mirah are p big names too

 

I didn't even see Mirah on there. Used to listen to her a ton in college.

 

Radiator Hospital sounds reaaaaaally familiar. Was there a band back when with a similar name or is it the same band?

Ah, gotcha. I've never liked a full album by them, but I manage to find songs I like on most of their releases. Really glad to hear that Burt's gotten healthy.

 

Lorde is awesome, I'd expect a new album sooner than later. She's been working with Jack Antanoff lately. Wonder how many collaborations we'll see on the album.

 

Wonder how that will sound. Usually you can hear Jack's fingerprints all over a track he produced.

Anyway. Guess I'll listen to Pure Heroine again.

 

I'm interested in seeing Lorde do some duets/features with interesting singers. I think it'd be cool to see how her voice works in that sort of setting as we haven't seen it very much. I'd love a duet with like Dallas Green or James Blake.

 

A friend I never see was passing through town and I took a long lunch to see him. We went to subway for something quick and there was a 20 something, clean shaven guy sitting by the door and he begged us for a sandwich. So we bought him some food and he says what kind of sandwich is it? My friend says turkey and the guy goes gross, I don't eat turkey and wouldn't take the food. I am so confused about the whole situation.

I was in an Uber once and a guy asked if we had any food at the window. The driver told me to pass him a banana that he had, so I did. The guy took it but then goes "Well do you have any money instead?" We said no and he started swearing and then chucked the banana into the road lol. If you just want money just say so imo

 

Someone please explain to my why in an office building there is a little kids urinal in the bathrooms? Or is his more for little people?
