Isn't letting them live in isolation worse than execution? Plus needlessly expensive

Anyone here excited for Free Comic Book Day? I'm tagging along with some friends for the first time this year.

 

Which concert should I go see June 3rd in Philly

Grimes
or
Hop Along/Waxahatchee (never listened to Wax.)

 

Personally I'd probably pick Grimes, but those are both pretty good. I haven't seen any of them live, though so I'm not sure who actually puts on a better live show.

 

I like them all, but I feel like Grimes would probably be the most entertaining live.

 

That Grimes show is so expensive. I was looking at that yesterday.

 

How much do her shows usually run? She's not super huge, popularity-wise, I wouldn't assume they're more than $30-40?

Is she that big now?

 

I didn't see if it was a seated show, but they are listed $40-125 for that particular show.

I really wanted to see Grimes with Lana Del Rey, but going into Brooklyn is never fun for me and ticket prices were gross.

 

Yeah it was $50 with fees I believe. I was pretty surprised. Haven't see the price of Hop Along but its a benefit concert.

 

You play beach normally or is it just a for fun thing?

 

I was curious about Grimes live but after the Coachella stream of her set I am decidedly less so.

 

Electric Factory is all standing. I wonder what the more expensive tickets are for

 

I don't enjoy Grimes at all and I feel like a bad person for it lol

 

Hop Along is incredible live. Francis has some incredible pipes, especially live.

 

$40 is pretty normally for show tickets. Or $30 at least

 

Yeah, I'm not sure. I'm going to be there this weekend for Babymetal and I'm definitely sticking to the balcony. Best part of UT and EF.

 

Yeah I usually expect to pay 40-60 these days for mid sized venues. Didn't think grimes would command that though since I'm pretty sure I saw Purity Ring at the same venue for like 25-30

 

wish Grimes and Florence and the Machine wasn't a week night

 

Barclays on a week night is a no go for me.

 

I'm not a fan of arena or stadium shows anyway. Barclays has some nasty ass fries too.
