I just finished watching Christine, and the last line spoken by the female lead is "God I hate rock n roll."

I'm pretty sure there's a pop punk song that starts with that line. Anyone know which song I'm talking about?

 

The song isn't particularly freaky.

The video is basically like a stop-motion condensed version of Wicker Man (not the Nic Cage version, sorry!). It's cool.

There is a fucking snake apparently loose in the warehouse at work and it's somewhere in that place hiding. I found out halfway through my shift today. I was uneasy the whole time especially walking back in the warehouse. The complex is right in front of a lake with a manmade mote so I'm sure there are plenty back there. This isn't the first time either because I walked up on one in the middle of the floor one time and nearly shat. Luckily someone caught that one.

Heaven help me.

Kid A I think is the closest I've ever been to actually getting into a Radiohead album beyond a light listen.

 

People who profess how child molesters should be murdered is troubling to me. Now, I don't have kids and to be frank, no child should endure that but how is killing the offender(s) going to right a wrong? Just a thought.

 

Sorry I trouble you. I work enough cases of abuse and molestation that I don't give a flying fuck about the offender. The world is a damn sure safer place without them. I'm pretty liberal but I do believe in the death penalty.

 

Idk, I just saw some random Vice article about chemically castrating child molesters and the comment section was like staring into the dark abyss of human emotion. It just bothered me, people get worked up about someone dying for whatever reason but in the same breath, call for others to die for their crimes. Death is weird, I'm drunk, and the world scares to a point where I honestly want to lose faith in it. Because people do horrible things or want horrible things to happen to other people. Idk, I need to stop.

 

I'm not barbaric and calling for chemical castration. I just don't want them around to hurt kids. I'm biased because someone I care for almost as much as my sister was molested as a child and guess what? That dude did no jail time and is still worrying people. She wanted to be near her home and lives in the same neighborhood not even thinking about him being a threat bc it's been years. Convict them and be done with them. That's my stance.

 

The system needs to change in favor of the victims. That's horrible what happened to your sister, truly upsetting. I don't have much experience in dealing with that and I think it shows in what I say. However, I'm very anti-death penalty, since it really doesn't solve anything and unfairly targets disadvantaged people and minorities, particularly African-Americans and the mentally ill/handicapped. Beyond that, I think people like that should just rot in jail. No rights though, they just rot in their cell with no contact with the outside world. No letters, no phone calls, nothing. They just sit there, as time flows like sand and the world passes them by.

 

My friend not my sister. If it were my sister, who means more to me than my life, he'd be dead already and I'd be in jail. I know I have harsh views about this but I have zero sympathy for people who do this shit when they know it's wrong.

 

It's your view to have, I don't think less of you for having it. Beyond that, seriously sorry I got that information wrong.
