On Sunday.

 

I just googled "meerkat zord" and found this:

 

I forgot all about that sketch. "Oh, you want me to sing?..."

 

The new Power Rangers zords are actually based on meerkats and other members of the mongoose family

 

Mongoose were good bikes.

 

Just had a memory from college. In my Death and Dying class, we had to bring in music of our own choosing that represented death. I definitely used "Porcelain" by Thursday. So strange that it came bubbling up out of nowhere.

 

@Dominick was the class actually called Death and Dying?

 

Haha. Yes. Honestly, the name is what attracted me to it.

 

I took the sociology of death and dying! It wasn't as interesting as I expected

Speaking of college, the one year I went some kids on my floor started a rumor that there was a Women's Studies course taught in my dorm room

 

Ha. We had a televangelist who taught our class. He also took us to visit a morgue to see dead bodies, and that sort of thing. It was pretty fun and interesting, except when he gave me a C for referring to myself as sexy when we had to write and read our own eulogy. But, I mean, I was a stupid twenty something, so whatevs.

 

You see he tweeted this same joke today? I haven't hit retweet that fast ever.

It's tornado season y'all

 

I've always wanted to see a tornado, but I also know I'd be terrified 110% of the time.

 

I'm a wuss when it comes to tornado watches. My coworkers wanted me to go out tonight, but nope.

 

I gotta drive an hour to get my daughter.

Ohhh that sounds interesting! My class was online so we didn't get to do fun stuff like that. It was more about how medical professionals' subconscious bias against poc and homeless patients impacts the way dying ppl are treated and stuff. Well at least that's the only part I remember. I took sociology of aging that term too and I get the course content mixed up often lol

 

Actually seeing a tornado would be pretty surreal I feel like, like 2% of me wants to see one but overall I'd be okay if I never did lol
