Haha, I've definitely had that before. My go to is ketchup with a little sriracha though. Mayo messes with my stomach.

 

So quick question before I go and watch this movie: What food item that you eat makes you feel like you've failed every time you eat it? I got McDonald's anything over here.

 

Ketchup+siracha sounds very bad

 

My parents once made a comment to someone in my vicinity that they don't expect to have any grandchildren. Felt pretty shitty to hear that.

 

I feel like every lil food cart or burger joint and some big chains have it so I was like ??? until I googled and wiki said it was a pnw thing lol! I only like the fry sauces where there isn't mayo or doesn't seem to be much of it in the ratio. I'm such a wimp with anything remotely spicy. I love the flavor of sriracha but rarely eat it for that reason lol. Never had it with ketchup tho!

That sucks. My mom would tell people from the time I was in like 8th grade that I wasn't going to college. Turns out she just knew me really well but still.

I've spent too much money at frozen yogurt places and such. They get you with the toppings, man.

My friend says her dad's already like "When you give me grandchildren?" as if she didn't just apply for grad school.

 

Interesting. Hah, I also didn't know that was regional.

 

It's more important to my parents than it is to me. I know they want grandkids but damn.

Like twice a year I think "hey an Ultimate Cheeseburger sounds good" — and I regret it like 5 minutes after the first bite.

 

I don't know if I want kids and my fam can be weird about it. My sister got super upset because she wants to be an aunt, but we have another sister so whatev she can be an aunt from her. If I did have kids I'd rather it be adoption or fostering or my partner's child. Child birth sounds terrible and I have no desire to experience it or pass my genes on. I'm not totally opposed, but the odds are low.

It's the tacos that get me. Nothing screams "I don't care about life at this moment!" than eating those deep fried abominations. I will say their Munchie menu is disgustingly awesome and is probably the only thing Jack in The Box has that I will defend.

 

@xkhiemster Some have a hard time accepting that things are not like they were back in their day.

 

Being pressured about having kids must suck. It's crazy for me to even think about. Like, I have the habit of calling people my age kids for whatever reason, so kids are having kids, shit's crazy.

 

Isn't that like Rally's, where it's all drive thru?

 

I told my parents I don't really want kids because I feel like I'm in no position to be a parent, especially since I can barely tolerate my younger cousins and my older cousins' kids.

 

It's the exact same thing, just a different name in other states, apparently.

 

I honestly feel bad for women in that sense that the world expects to them have children but if they choose not to, they are view negatively for that choice. Some people just don't want to put children on their own in this world, deal with it.

 

Working with kids makes wanting kids conflicting. Some kids are great birth control and others are so cute and amazing and if I love them so much, I can't even imagine loving my own hypothetical kid even more. But then the birth control ones kick me in the shins and flip me off and I feel conflicted again.

Also I'd only want one, and I'm sorry to the only children of chorus but idk if I want to bring an only child into this world.

 

Not if you only get the fries

 

I feel lucky to have such open-minded Asian parents, and it's not just because they're not pressuring my older brother to get married already. They've also been really accepting about both of our educational/career choices; he went into art/architecture and I did English/Asian American Studies, none of which are what you'd traditionally expect from children of immigrants.

 

Depending on which locations, because even that is hit or miss.
