so a fire truck just drove around slowly in my apartment complex parking lot with all of its (outer) lights turned off. then they backed it up and parked it behind some pine trees and then three people took off in opposite directions into the fields behind the buildings.

Today is mud wars, where you watch a bunch of teenage girls play tug o war in the mud. I'm surprised there isn't more uproar over the concept but it's fun af. To do, not to watch. That part is boring but my sis is in it so...

 

I have so much studying to do this week and my mom's more concerned about insurance and yelling at me to call a certain number but she doesn't remember which one.

 

Dreamt last night that I met Carly Rae Jepsen at some event and hung out with her and it was great.

Then I woke up and saw someone on Facebook argue that allegations against Trump are probably only happening for political reasons.

Can I go back to sleep now?

I was wondering why my car was sluggish these past few days....I found a screw embedded in my rear tire.

So I'm teaching a lesson on "songs of the civil rights movement" to lead into A Raisin in the Sun and I really want to include a more recent song dealing with racial issues to go alongside "Blowin' in the Wind" and "We Shall Overcome" and "A Change Is Gonna Come". Obviously, it has to be appropriate for me to play in a classroom. Any suggestions?

I'm at Taco Bell right now and these high schoolers are right next to me being super loud and cussing a lot and I just want to fight them all.

like it's a public place and they even drop homophobic language like it's nothing right near a little girl.

 

taco bell always attracts the very worst high schoolers. also i was always at taco beel when i was in high school but i wasn't an asshole.

 

I'd be obese if I worked at TB. I love their sour cream and you would see me back there eating gobs of it from that gun thing.
