This 'project' (really just a super challenging homework done in pairs) my professor gave us is so damn hard, and even more frustrating is at one point he gives some of the answers. Basically, we have to design a circuit using a certain sensitivity, scaling with n=1-20. Each group had a different number. So, like, obviously it's going to be one of the extremes. But we have to run a simulation of it, and in the instructions for that he flat out said which we need to use. So I'm just working backwards through the entire thing.



but my partner just emailed me and he did the (harder) first half so we're literally meeting in the middle here and stress is gone and maybe i actually CAN go to the descendents concert on thursday!

You absolutely should, in my opinion. They're my favorite band (probably). I can recommend a few of there songs that aren't as "heavy". I'm not a huge fan of screaming, overall. But what Dustin does is more of a gritty yell than a traditional scream, especially in comparison to their older albums, and it has never felt forced or out of place like it can for other bands who "have" to scream in lieu of singing. But I'm also exceptionally biased, so take that with a grain of salt, hah.

Emery in general hasn't aged well for me at all. The acoustic stuff they did on the deluxe version of I'm Only A Man is fantastic, though. I think that album and In Shallow Seas We Sail are the only ones I've gone back and at least been able to get through in the past few years.

 

I really like the acoustic studio tracks on The Question's deluxe edition. And, if I'm in the right mood, I really dig The Weak's End; it all runs together, but I'm in the mood for that style of music, it's great to throw on in the background.

I rarely even remember that they exist, though, to be honest, lol.

Damn, hope you're prepared! Hermaine hit us in Tallahassee recently. It was weak and some of my friends still didn't have power for 9 days

 

yikes, yeah losing power is definitely what im most worried about. i live on a 2nd floor so luckily flooding shouldn't be an issue

Yeah, I'm probably headed back home to Tally for a minute. My neighborhood looks out at the river. And it's already basically at water level as it is haha.

 

Also, Jax station 4 posted their weather map and shows that with Nicole moving north, Matthew could hit SC and be drawn back down south to hit Florida again similar to how Charlie did in 04. I think it was Charlie, could've been one of the million others from that year though.

This happened to my ex when she moved to Dallas. We got a festival of tornadoes like a month after she moved in.
