I'm 2nd youngest at work.

 

same! i used to be the youngest until a few months ago they hired a guy who's 24

 

I'm pretty sure I am the youngest at my work and I am 25

There may be one person younger than me but I don't think he is

 

Fuckkkkk. I'm gonna get railroaded for this shit at work.

I hope they're ready to deal with my apathy.

 

I'm the youngest in the group I work in, but oldest out of the group I was hired with. People were really relieved when we got hired because there had been a hiring freeze for something like 10 years.

I just remembered I'm closing at work tonight and it's going to be awful being there until 11 pm.

especially since it's a Friday night with high school football going on. I might just end up hanging out in the cooler if I get super bored.

 

Ehhh... It's nothing new. Basically it's the lack of communication between departments as well as the company and it's clients which results in the employees not knowing what the fuck to do.

 

what do you do?

 

I work in what is basically accounts payable processing payments/reimbursements/purchases/etc. for colleges apart of the CUNY system here in New York.

 

Same here! She might be 23 but close enough.

 

Everybody acts like I'm one of the young guns at work, but then the girl I moderate the newspaper with is like 6 years younger than I am, so...not so much

 

I'm the 2nd youngest. A lot of my coworkers are older than my parents.

 

just like I predicted it's super dead at my work and I have nothing to do so I'm sitting in the cooler.

The fact I still have to be here for 5 more hours makes me sad but at least the last hour is pretty fast.

People who go "WOW!" To info that's not even exciting and it's just dumb social norm politeness to pretend to be interested but it's so ott like chill.

 

It's around 45 degrees in there so not super bad but it feels amazing when it's hot outside.

 

Oh, not bad. When I hear cooler, I think 35 degrees and below.

 

that's generally the meat department temperature. Produce coolers generally have to be warmer so produce doesn't freezez

 

My grandpa was an ass and was undermining my interests today. Totally mocking. If I did that to him he'd freak. And I didn't even bother saying anything cause he'd turn it into how he didn't mean anything and how I twist his words and he'd be the victim. He's the one who taught my mom that song and dance so it's not even worth it

 

I just got out of work and the only thing that is making me happy right now is right across from the street is in n out. I'm so going to get some.

 

Went to a party last night and feel like an old man.


Also when I got home, I ordered Domino's, met one of the guys that's lived below me for over a year for the first time (he also ordered Domino's at the same time), didn't even touch the food, and immediately went to bad.
