I think it's funny how people "call out" the stupidest shit, but don't actually call out when, say, sexism happen.

Not directed at you, but this is a good time to remind everyone to please report things that need to be addressed. Not nearly enough is reported that we mods get held accountable for and a huge majority of the time it's because we never saw it because there's so few of us and it never got reported.

I've gotten, like, a grand total of 4 in my life. I just have no experience in receiving them.

When I was in college, a communications class had an extra credit assignment for bringing in the most offensive song you knew. I brought an AxCx song.

Plot twist: You're not actually in Hailey, It Happens; you just pretend so you can see what compliments feel like.

 

I'm willing to bet you won. Haha. I actually saw him perform before his death. It was the most offensive and horrible concert experience of my life.

 

One of those very rare incidents was someone recognizing Bobby and I at Bamboozle and telling us Aurora got him through his breakup and meant the world to him. Knew making music would be good for something, right?

 

Some moderators, it seems to me, find things permissible that I do not. They prefer to bandwagon with members over stupid shit, yet are nowhere to be found in other situations. Whether it is for popularity or just wanting to enjoy the site without responsibility, I don't know, but I would think that's a conflict of interest in terms of doing their jobs. In any case, this is all I have to say on the matter. There's no need for you to respond. I'm going to go back to the politics forum.

 

Ha, that's cool that you can say you've seen him live, but at the same time, there's no way I could endure a whole concert of that garbage. Even half a concert. I can't even imagine, lol. Probably the worst crowd ever.

I've never really dug deep into AxCx but like, is there a profile or something on him? Or a good comprehensive interview? Is he legit in his views or is it just being inciteful for the purpose of being inciteful?

 

probably a little of this a little of that. The extent of his use of the N-word was convincing enough for me to think he was a stone cold racist.

 

Torrential downpour just started and I have to walk to class in 10 minutes. ugh.


Nearby middle/high schools just got out and it sounds like these kids are being viciously attacked or on a roller coaster.

 

I know I'm supposed to like kids because I'm a dad but kids at the airport/on an airplane infuriate me. And I feel bad because sometimes they're not even doing anything. I'm just like "Why are you in my presence"
