I'm not to be trusted with that kind of equipment. I tipped a bobcat over once.

 

A few years back, there was a large electrical storm, which knocked power out of this warehouse in which I worked. Rather than send anyone home, they basically compelled people to work. They ended up getting fined around $75,000 by OSHA for putting workers in danger. It may vary from state to state, but Maryland does not fuck around.

I'm still scarred from the GTA San Andreas forklift level that I wouldn't go near one.

 

I told my TA she could jump on my computer to print off like two things and she's printing off a ton of things and I'm like ok I need my computer back...

But of course I'm too awkward to say anything so I'm just sitting here.

 

Sometimes, when there is no one available, I have to take large machines out of trucks with our big forklifts. This is what they look like:

When my mom worked at my school we would steal her master key and make copies of the answer sheets for our upcoming test.

I was SO bad as a teenager.

 

Yeah ia it's mostly just like awkwardness of not knowing how to respond. Cause they are always like "has anyone told you..?!." and I'm like yep you are not the first to make that revelation lol

 

Me:

 

That's like when people say "thanks for your service. " i usually respond with, "you too"

 

I should be allowed to return compliments with a "fuck yeah!"

 

I'm awkward with compliments too, and everything else

 

If someone compliments me in text, I usually respond with the :3 face. Because when someone compliments me in person, I kind of duck my head, smile all weirdly, and say thanks. It's weird. I don't know how to take compliments. Lol

 

At my old job they definitely didn't let unlicensed employees drive forklifts. Just wanted to throw that out there, @Fucking Dustin is promoting negative views of Texas

 

Usually I take compliments by agreeing with the person

 

I just say thank you I appreciate it. I don't get why it's difficult. Y'all are weird. I got so much negativity that a compliment brightens my day.

How you react to it can make it easier or harder. Every day is a learning experience

 

I have a hard time telling myself I deserve good things might be the problem.

Like I'll make a cool thread and it will get locked.

 

My self esteem is so low that if someone says I like you in that shirt I assume they're saying all my other shirts make me look bad

 

My self esteem is wildly volatile. I fluctuate between extremes
