I liked California drivers

 

I didn't know what a California stop was until I googled it.

also I failed two drivers test before I got my license so I am a bad driver.

 

I have never taken a drivers test

I have a license though

I remember failing my drivers ed written test by one question. It was the last question, don't remember the question exactly but I put "braking distance" and the answer was "stopping distance." I was furious lol

I still have no clue how I passed my driver's test considering I can't parallel park

 

Failed my first one cuz it was pouring rain hardcore and I was super nervous. Had maybe 10 feet of visibility. Second time I didn't check my blindspot when going into the left turn lane which was an automatic fail. Third time was the charm.

 

I failed my written test twice and the only reason I passed the third time was because the test was a combination of the first and second one.

I had my license for over a year and I never went on the freeway/highway because I was so scared of it.

 

I failed the driving test twice. I have anxiety already but I was in a bad car crash once so I have it worse with driving. I didn't have to parallel tho! Ppl laugh at me for failing it twice but I've never gotten pulled over so ha! Until now cause I prob cursed it

 

I really shouldn't be but I'm still in the suburbs where I have to but it's so stressful

 

I had to teach myself how to parallel or else I wouldn't have been able to park in the college town I live in. Very stressful. Also, everyone bikes in the streets and they don't stop at stop signs (even though they're supposed to). Bikes will literally come out of nowhere and if you're not paying super close attention or you're speeding you'll hit them. I know a lot of people who have been hit, thankfully they just get scraped up a bit and not too injured, but their bikes get ruined.

 

I'm so old they didn't make you parallel park as part of your test.

 

You don't have to parallel park in Ohio, but there is a "maneuverability" test where you have to back through some cones

 

All we have to do is back along a curb instead of parallel

 

remember on Doug when Judy couldn't parallel park

I went to the DPS and told them I studied an online course, handed them a receipt, and they took my photo for my license

I could definitely pass a test though, I just didn't take one at 17

 

did they hand you a gun too? I mean this is Texas

 

No but I did buy one once at 17

I'm not proud of it and it's for (reasons I don't feel comfortable talking about)

 

This explains so much about the driving here!

 

All my friends talk about how they'd be terrified to drive in LA or NY but it's honestly so much worse here

 

Driving in DC was a hell I had never known existed.
