Yes! I didn't realize how creepy it was until years later because he's my age and I think I assume most anonymous ppl on the internet are my age too lmao. I couldn't imagine being a celeb's kid. I always wonder how that feels and how their parents explain that to them as they get older.

I have like $70 in late fees from 2011 on my library card, but it's also expired and under an old address. I wonder if I can get a new library card

That probably doesn't include the fees on my daughter's card

 

I decided to do random searching on Netflix and I ended up on a documentary about the Latino punk scene in LA and I love this.

It talks mostly about backyard venues and it brings me back to young cobra at 15/16 going to backyard shows.

(FWIW I'm just posting cause I agree with all of this and it's irritating me a lot. I have no idea if Jack is otherwise a dickhead/problematic or what.)

 

Have you read Violence Girl: East L.A. Rage to Hollywood Stage, A Chicana Punk Story? It's on my amazon wishlist. I keep hearing it's good!

 

What bands are in that doc? Xibalba/Rotting Out?

 

I was hoping those bands would be in it also but nah it was just small local street punk bands in that area.

I know a few featured were named Corrupted Youth, Pysk Ward, Withdrawal Symptoms.

 

I didn't even know that existed but just reading the summary makes it sound good. I might need to look for it next time in borders.

The doc actually featured a 15 year old female chicana punk rocker and she was a promoter and it was crazy how much she could make in one show.

 

That was great. I avoid places/employees at the stores I frequent near my house for this exact reason. It's just.. too much sometimes. Most times.

I don't believe them so I only talk to the customer if they approach me.
