At first I thought I'd be lil mama but I hate lipgloss so I'm not popping. I'm content with being pitbull. Fun yet watered down for the masses!!

 

it seems very on brand that I've been thinking a lot lately about how that Lil Mama song is an underrated bop

 

Listened to the summer days mix today and I don't think there was a single track I didn't like. And lots I loved. I'd probably heard about half of that one before, and the rest was artists that I've heard of/listen to other stuff from, but the songs were new for me. For instance, I haven't gotten around to those Grimes, Ellie Goulding, or Allison Weiss records from last year, but now I definitely want to. Also, love how Chad seems to be a constant fixture in your mixes.

Looking forward to checking out the summer nights mix tomorrow. Again, it looks like a nice mix of stuff I've heard and stuff I've been meaning to check out.

 

Yeah I didn't reinvent the wheel on them at all, or reflect the variety of what I listen to, but something about the flow of them really works for me right now.

And yeah it's a superstition of mine that every mix needs to have a Chad song

I was seriously debating taking a trip to Santa Cruz this Saturday but I forgot I had a fantasy football draft so welp at me. I take my fantasy football drafts very serious.

It's probably better to save money now but still.

I'm working again therefore have money again and clothing places are already getting their fall stuff ready but I am taking a trip soon so I must resist the urge to buy. Stupid consumerism.

I know some methods that can help you get to bed.

 

Apparently it's supposed to rain but I'm already in bed and my car windows are cracked a bit, like an inch. I think I'm gonna just call it good but idk if I should just go roll them up. I have to go down a long steep driveway and around a corner in the dark. But I'm in bed. Mehhh

 

I'd mostly recommend uncontrollable sobbing to let the feelings out before the sweet embrace of nothingness that is sleep.

 

I'm almost welcoming the start of the school year because it necessitates routines that will help me get back to eating better and exercising and listening to new music, etc.

On the plus side I thought it was 5am but it's only 2am so that's cool

 

I usually prefer a mix with great flow and a unified feel to one that crosses a lot of genre lines, so this was right up my alley.

Glad to see those Maren Morris and Ingrid songs on your second mix. Big fan of both of those.

I have to be at work at 6, 2 hours before my actual start time to do shit for my boss. I didn't get off work until 730 last night lol
