YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED YET?!

 

I've been busssssssssyyyyyyyyy. Haha. It's sitting here in my queue, the plan was to watch it late last week and I haven't yet! I'm 1 behind on 100, 1 behind on iZombie, 1 back in Arrow.

Getting these forums ready basically has ruined TV/Movie watching time. I roll into bed and listen to like 20 minutes of a podcast before passing out.

 

I can't wait to see what kind of bullshit she responds with.

Putting under the spoiler tag for Jason so he doesn't accidentally spoil the episode for himself. So for anyone curious, there's a slight spoiler for The 100 under there.

I understand to someone who isn't aware of it and doesn't have too many LGBTQA+ people in their life that it's not really something that completely effects your life or would be something you'd really pick up on. But I feel like it's pretty easy to understand where I'm coming from without me having to respond with an entire novel.

 

I also just realized how far behind I am in B99 as well.

 

Wow i did not realize Brooklyn 99 was already on season three (I've only seen the first season)

 

I have completely missed this past season of Bob's Burger's.

 

I saw the first few episodes. Fucking love that show. The Turkey Trot Thanksgiving episode they did last season (two seasons ago?) is a pretty good explanation of why I hate turkeys.

 

i've skipped the last few episodes of b99, it's alright but i've been busy with work and i've had other priorities

crazy ex girlfriend and jane the virgin are my fav regularly airing shows right now (steven universe c'mon please be on more)

 

I really like it when I remember to watch. It doesn't fill the Parks and Rec sized hole in my heart, but it's fun. A good background kind of show. It just never ends up being a priority watch.

Nope.

I've been attacked by a large flock of turkeys twice.

 

Oh..my..god..you poor thing. One of them is scary enough, I'd have a stroke if it were a flock. How did you get away? Those bastards are aggressive.

 

Story time:

So I grew up in kind of middle of nowhere NJ in a pretty farm oriented town. Lots of horse farms, a goat farm, etc. We have 6 acres of property and there are always tons of deer, some foxes, rabbits, groundhogs, etc. And, of course, wild turkeys. We also have a pretty long driveway leading to the house. So I get off the bus my freshman year of high school and see about 15-20 turkeys in the front yard and don't think anything of it. So I start walking towards the house and they start getting closer, so I start to speed up, and they start to speed up. And next thing I know they're legitimately chasing me. I got into the house with probably 5 steps to spare. Shit was terrifying.

The second time, I was trying to drive to school in the morning my senior year of high school and they lined up at the top of the driveway blocking my exit and wouldn't move. I honked, I revved the engine, rolled down my window and screamed at the top of my lungs, everything. My mom watched from the window crying from laughing so hard. Took me 15 minutes to get rid of them.

And then, this Thanksgiving while I was home for the holiday, a turkey was in the yard while my family and I were in the living room so I started making jokes that it was coming after me to resurrect the rivalry and my sister was telling me I was a moron and weird and such. Then when it was time for me to leave, I go to the front door and the turkey is out there waiting for me.

I hear ya on the priority thing. There are just so many damn shows to keep up with.

 

I've started so many shows that I've enjoyed but just completely slipped my mind, and never made it past the first season.

 

That's scary but makes for a HILARIOUS story. I really loled. I have never had a good experience with a live turkey so I just stay away.

Yeah you pretty much described 85% of the stories I have. Lots of crazy, bizarre shit happens to me. Those turkey stories are really something else though.
