I'm notorious for not commenting my code so I try to make my variable names as descriptive as possible.

Best comment I saw in someone else's code was:

As much as I love On the Impossible Past, which was the perfect right-place, right-time album for me, I thought it was a brave and smart step for the band to turn their scope inward and be more self-reflective on Rented World. Can't wait to see what they do next.

I forgot a lot about this album. I think Against Me!'s album just dominated 2014 for me in such a way I haven't come back to this in a while. So many little melodies that are just so perfect.

This album reminds me of what Thomas was talking about two podcasts ago in regards to Goodness, and his thoughts about unfair expectations coming on the heels of an album so good that it catches you completely off guard. I remember being nervous on my first listen and worrying that it wouldn't hit me in the same way OTIP did, and in many ways, it didn't. But the beautiful thing is that it absolutely didn't have to — the band found new ways to punch me in the gut, and that's why I like this record so much.

 

Sometimes I think we get so caught up in needing an album to be right, right now, that what it really takes is being able and willing to come back to it and find it again later. Like it may not hit you in the moment, but a year later it's your favorite album or something close.

It's after 11 and I just put on 23 Live Sex Acts, I should probably not rile myself up this late. Should probably go watch some Brooklyn 99 in bed and get some sleep. Heh.

SomedayTheFire made the suggestion of AelNire or Eiranne and I asked him what the 1st one meant..then I was told it was my name backwards and I had completely missed it lol

I think a majority of AP users post from their phones. It's not like mobile for AP was bad or anything this is just way easier.

 

The Ads don't bother me unless it's that one with the creepy kid stroking a bird. Freaks me out.

 

Agreed. I think it's like 60% view AP on mobile these days. Just crazy what phones have done to the Internet since I started doing this sort of stuff.

And I agree. My goal was to improve every aspect from desktop to mobile and make it better in every possible way I could.

Man I remember when I first started getting phone that were WAP enabled. Now it would be completely unheard of to have a phone without an internet and browser.
