Wait are album threads gonna be in music now bc that's wild

 

If I were to do this classic artist exploration thing and people wanted to do it, how long would people want me to wait before starting it? A few weeks?

why would an artist with only two albums need two threads?

But still, I think it makes for better organization since so many threads will get lost over time.

yes i understand the logic behind it im just saying if they only have two releases and we cant justify an artist thread for them why do they get two entirely different threads, why wouldnt it make more sense to just shove them both in one thread lol.

think a separate forum for albums is kinda overkill tbh

i like the way things are currently organized here but i think having each album thread link to the artist thread and the artist thread link to each of the album threads would be good.

there's so much to discuss about music apart from just albums and artists, which is why i think separating the three (General music discussion, artists, albums) makes it cleaner, but eh

I actually did not realize you could sort by prefix. So it pretty much already does that. That's pretty damn cool.

and on the contrary i think having multiple forums makes one forum less bloated, i guess i'm not one to immediately think "OH there's prefixes i could just click that", gonna have to get used to it hehe. maybe we could have a prefix for anything that isn't album/artist as well, in that case?
