I'll make some REAL sweet tea for y'all.

 

I think whenever I'm listening to a classic artist that doesn't have a thread yet here, I'll just make one

 

I can't wait to go back. It's so pretty there.

 

i bought an arizona tea the other day and offered a drink to my bf who lived in texas for like 10 years and he looked at me like i offered him sewage water. confirm/deny this reaction as normal.

 

If any of you come to Wisconsin I'll get you some real fresh cheese curds.

 

the BBQ here is so good but yeah most people just drink and people watch at Ocean Isle Beach. I dont drink alcohol nor do I care much for people so I just kind of eat food in the shade and laugh at my own jokes.

Plus theres rampant racism and homophobia so its pretty rough sometimes.

visiting the UK would be wonderful omg. I've always wanted to go. The day MCR reunites I'll be there.

 

Idea: we get BBQ takeout and then eat it in the dark in (possibly) separate rooms

 

I'd love to go back there sometime when I have money. I've spent so much time down there while broke. But love the riverfront. Also YES to the sweet tea.

 

Confirm. Anything that comes pre-made like that is nasty and prob tastes like sewage water.

i used to work at Chilis and when the northerners would come down for the summer i would make a lot of them angry because they would ask for tea and i would bring them sweet tea by habit and they would all hate it.

 

I agree with this statement. I have a cousin that lives in Knoxville and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of cool bars/restaurants around town.

im friends with a BBQ stand owner so it wouldnt even cost us a dime

 

Every time I turn around, there are more cool places opening up. Just don't really have a friend group to go out with/the money to do it right now.

And the reverse is when we were in NYC and asked for tea and they brought us unsweet tea and some packets of sugar.

i'm a vegetarian and i brought vegan ribs to a family cookout once, and my great uncle literally said the word "if god didn't want us to eat animals, he wouldn't have made them out of food and given us guns to shoot them with" out loud to me completely seriously.
