    Writing papers was the best part of being a political science major. I miss writing, though nowadays, seeing the boom in fiction as well as romance novels, I wonder if I could do that too.

  2. I relate to this. I was a very good academic writer in school. One of my majors was philosophy and I breezed through every paper assignment with hardly any trouble. But my girlfriend at the time was one of those people who is just so talented with words and writes so beautifully that I always felt like even my best writing paled in comparison.

    I'm incredibly fortunate that I developed a passion for writing about music before college. It made the rhythm of writing constant essays much easier.

    I used to be a decent writer but I don't really write anymore. I think I'd be a legit good writer if I was disciplined and studied it, but I never did and I've gotten worse over time ha. Sometimes I feel like I had raw talent but no direction to go with it so I wasted it, idk

    Also I'm the queen of procrastination and it's the worst. The worst time was the day before it was due and was like 25 pages and I had to watch 50 movies and analyze them. Some I'd already seen, and the others I had playing in the background as I wrote the paper. Got an A tho. If I write it over a long period of time I start second guessing myself and I tend to get lower scores. I wish I'd stop tho cause it's so stressful and despite getting good marks I always regret it.

    There's a monster under all this tulle;

    "This isn't a paper you can write the night before" *writes paper night before* Gets an A.

    I never had confidence in my writing, and if I didn't think something was perfect enough I could never write it, king of writing a 990 word essay because I just can't make it 1000

    I'm really good at expressing myself through the written word, especially when it's something I care about or am interested in. Not great at speaking words. I am also the living embodiment of the "man cannot speak to pretty woman" cliche.

    Word limits stress me out. I'll write until I have nothing more to talk about, and if that becomes 1 page or 10 pages, then so be it. If I try to condense it to make it shorter, I feel like my writing becomes ineffective. If I try to write more than I have to say, it comes across as unprofessional and unorganized. However, when I do have something to say, I do give it my all, regardless of how many words I put on the page.

    Honestly, throw an elementary school math story problem at me and I will do the same haha. Math doesn't come naturally to me at all.

    I keep thinking I don't want to have kids because I won't be able to help them on their homework past like the 4th grade. Plus, I hear the common core stuff is extra weird/hard.

    I'm pretty good at algebra. It's geometry that gets me. idk why exactly but god forbid the shapes

    Odd question but is it normal for a girl to send a guy a picture of her menstrual blood?

    Like I'm not grossed out or anything cuz it's not gross to me since I'm an adult but it just doesn't seem like a common thing to randomly message someone with entirely out of the blue.

    I used to be great at math and loved it. I'd get such a thrill out of solving something. Got a 4/5 on the Calc AP test and was gonna be a math teacher.

    Then I got burnt out and existential during Calc 2 in college and gave up on that. Haven't done anything major like that in about as long as since the last Brand New album, at least.

    I've heard common core isn't that bad, and that most parents just freak cause it's not how they learned it so they don't get it. but idk! I've been able to help my hs-aged siblings with their math and honestly idek how I remember it. I barely passed all my math classes
