When I was in elementary school I would bring shorts to put on under my dresses for recess/P.E. and people made fun of me RELENTLESSLY. It was really weird looking back on it. I also played pretty hard so I would get holes in the knees of my jeans and this one girl would tell people I was poor and that's the reason I had holes in the knees of my pants lol

 

There must be 50 kids under the age of 5 on this flight to Orlando. Good thing I'm in first class ayyy

 

@Lauren and I were super letdown when we saw them headlining.

I may have been slightly intoxicated but I remember getting there and no one being into it at all. People talked through the entire set and it just didn't sound great at all. Basically heard a few songs I love and left.

 

We weren't allowed to play football at my high school, so my gym teacher, who was a Marine with a dolphin tattoo on his leg, would have us play "pass and catch." Which, yes, was football.

Once, while playing "pass and catch," a very socially awkward 4chan-y kid who didn't like gym or the teacher actually got involved and was having a good time for once. Then, he tripped over a curb and face planted on said curb. They had to operated on him because he had some kind of fluid or something by his brain; he did fully recover, though.

That guy kept being our gym teacher, though. I guess not many people interested in teaching gym at a small Christian school? One replacement got a better job, and another was fired because kids caught him looking at porn on a school computer.

 

What a random story.

we got 5 inches of snow today

 

I'm so glad I didn't have to take gym in high school. In Jr. High all of the sporty kids would be very obviously (sometimes vocally) upset if I was put on their team.

 

Weather be sunny and beautiful here. Gotta enjoy it until that summer swamp ass weather hits.

 

Did you grow up where snow was a normal thing? One day, we were talking about wanting to live where it snowed. After I thought about it, I realized how dumb of a statement that was because it being hot as balls doesn't shut anything down like snow does.

 

it's rainny and muggy and my eyes are all puffy and red and i can't stop sneazing and look yucky.

The sky looked apocalyptic today but it only drizzled. Was odd.

 

Thread was flying last time I mentioned it, but if you're up for exploring a classic artist, we're talking about the amazing Nina Simone this week.

 

I kind of wish they would send us home. I would use a nap.

 

Pretty sure I'm cutting all of my hair off. Tried growing it out but I can't do this, I feel like it looks terrible 90% of the time

 

It was in the mid 60s and sunny in Chicago yesterday and today it's in the 30s and snowing. I know spring is often temperamental but this is getting ridiculous. When walking is your main means of transportation this weather is especially a bummer.

 

I saw Dustin's picture and I know a guy who has thick curly hair the same length as you and he uses one of those stretchy headband things and it looks so good.

 

@Tim dodgeball was banned because one kid took a ball to the privates, snapped, and attempted to beat up the kid who threw the ball. It was a complete accident and as soon as it happened the kid apologized profusely and offered to sit out the rest of the game because he felt so bad but the first kid wouldn't take it and charged him.

 

My first college paper is due Wednesday and I'm terrified. I didn't even start writing yet and I feel like I have pieces of information missing.
