Where do you work?

 

I went to Spain for a few weeks on a school trip. The only things I can remember eating were seafood paella and dreamsicles.

Big Y. It's a locally owned grocery chain prevalent only in Massachusetts and Connecticut, and maybe one or two other New England states. The food service department has a pizza department and that's moi.

 

I've been to Bologna once. Wasn't my favorite, to be honest. Who do you work for? Will they hire me? (only half kidding)

Pisa is a lovely town with near nothing to do after you take the picture. If you can, get over to Cinque Terre when it's warmer. Favorite place in Italy after Venice. And if you ever get down to Florence, let me know and I can give you directions to the best place I ate in Italy.

 

It's hard to find? Every pizza place I've been to has pineapple

 

Tbh most of my posts are about food anyway

 

I mean even Pizza Hut has pineapple as an option

 

Sweet, I definitely want to get down to Florence since it's relatively close to Bologna. The problem is that usually when I'm over there it's for like 3 days and I don't have a ton of extra time to bomb around.

I really love Bologna, but mostly because I'm so comfortable there, it's like a second home for me. All my coworkers over there have taken me to some really cool spots. There's definitely not much to do there as far as tourism goes, but if you know some of the good local spots, you can have a really good time.

Makes sense. Florence is only like an hour on the bullet trains iirc. I don't know if I could do just three days! Partly because the travel would be brutal, but also because I love being there too much.

I've heard that about Bologna. One of my friends is moving there in a couple years and I know I'll have to go visit her.

 

Yeah, the travel can be brutal. My shortest trip over there was arriving on Tuesday night at 11PM, and leaving Thursday morning at 6AM. I got home, slept for like 15 hours, and woke up not even remembering being in Italy haha.

 

Oh God, that'd be awful. My shortest overseas trip (involving more than one time zone change) was 12 days. I've known a couple people who have flown overnight to London for work, then taken a red eye back to the US that night. Crazy.

 

So, It's Always Sunny in Moscow is a thing

Why were you living in Italy?

 

this is awesome and hilarious because I used to watch the TNT russian channel as a kid, since I was born in Ukraine.

 

I studied abroad there, then went back and interned at the school for two semesters after graduating.

 

Are you still fluent in Russian?

for the most part. there's a lot I need to work on because I haven't spoken it often in years. I just showed that trailer to my mom and now she wants me to watch the show with her haha

 

hahaha apparently half of those actors in the Always Sunny in Moscow thing are actually really well known and this is a big deal

 

I feel like Steve Harvey is trying to become the next Bill Cosby pre-rape allegations.

 

If you're at a party or social gathering and the person ordering the pizza for everyone gets some with mushrooms on it you can no longer trust that person in a crisis

 

These are super frustrating but it seems they're getting harder and harder to avoid
